About this house rental

Nestled in Port Moody, this charming house for $147 per night is a great choice for your next break. This suite is newly-built and includes a full oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a full-size fridge and freezer. The living room features a gas fireplace, and the unit has its own temperature control. The suite includes its own private outdoor space in a sunny, south-facing backyard. Our internet is fast and reliable, and our TV has Netflix and Prime. With over-height ceilings and featuring a luxury queen-size master bed, for bookings of 3 guests, we offer a high-quality single air mattress, and for 4 guests, we offer a bed height, queen-sized air mattress. If you book for 2 guests, we will assume you'll be sleeping in the queen bed unless you say otherwise. Let us know if you have any questions about sleeping arrangements when you book. Guests have full access to the entire suite and private backyard. Free street parking is available. It's a quiet street that hardly ever has any parked cars; the spot right in front of the suite entrance is usually free. We are on a hill, so although the suite is ground level, there are a few steps to get to the front door. Check-in is done with a keypad code, so guests can check in at their leisure. Guests can have as much or as minimal interaction with hosts as they wish. We are located about a 10min. walk or less to Old Orchard Park. At this park, there is a sandy beach, calm ocean water you can swim in (in any season if you're brave), picnic tables, a playground, and washroom facilities. From this park, you can continue to walk along the Shoreline trail, which is a wooded trail with both a pedestrian gravel path and a paved shared path for bicycles and pedestrians. This trail will take you all the way to Rocky Point Park, a large park with many amenities. From our door, it's 3.5km, and a commonly used search engine says it's a 42min. walk one way. We are happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have about traveling in our area. Feel free to message us through Airbnb. Great place to stay. Marnie had great communication. Only one thing I might add would be some screens on the patio door and the kitchen window to allow fresh air into the unit.

Pros: - No concerns with this property. - Communications was good. - Suite was clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay (laundry, kitchen fixings, smart TV, wifi, nice size living space with sufficient seating) and nice outdoor space to enjoy. - access is easy with keyless entry. - proximity to amenities within reasonable distance. - price was great. Cons: - no view of the beautiful water from suite. - with windows open, it can be a bit noisy from road traffic during busy hours as the house fronts a main road. - hear foot steps from owners above pretty easily, but not enough to bother one as they are early sleepers. - parking is on the street and can get congested at times due to school drop-off or pick-up. I would and will stay here again. Recommend to any 1 person or couple. Cheers

Location of the property was nice and in a quiet neighborhood. Close walk to the Rocky Point Park. Marnie (Host) was very accommodating. The place was clean and had all the amenities needed. Would stay here again.

We stayed a week in this appartement and did day trips from there. Very nice area for Hikes in the hills (e.g. Bunzen Lake or Minnekhada Regional Park) or along the waterfront (Shorelane Trail). Close to Vancouver and shopping centers. Thanks Marnie for providing additional bedding for our son for the last night!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Very spacious and clean. It was nice to have walking trails near by without having to drive to them. Close to all amenities without having to fight too much traffic.

This was a very pleasant stay for us. When you enter the place, it feels like moving into a brand new house; even the furniture is all like brand new. The place is also very clean, comfortable, and spacious! The location is another great feature as you can enjoy a nice view over the ocean right outside the door.
