Finca La Manchuria is an AUTHENTIC COFFEE FARM JUST 2 HOURS FROM MEDELLIN , of more than 100 years old, completely remodeled in Hotel Boutique in 2019 while respecting traditional architectural techniques, to receive travelers and adventurers, in love with coffee and unique experiences.
It is located in the heart of our coffee reserve - La Manchuria, surrounded by coffee plantations and birds of all colors. It is the ideal place to disconnect from the city, and enjoy authentic moments with your family or friends. Only 2 hours away from the Vibrant Medellin!
Finca la Manchuria offers 9 private rooms receiving from 2 to 4 guests each, spread over 2 floors. The maximum capacity is 28 guests.
A natural heated swimming pool fed by spring water from our forests, a solarium, several “chill-out” areas, hammocks,, board games, billard pool, a café a/ bar with tastings of our Coffee products, are parts of the facilities that you could enjoy at Finca la Manchuria.
To ensure a complete relaxing experience, your reservation includes a cook , 1 cleaning assistant and extra person for the pool and bar .We also offer a MARKET SERVICE , prior to your arrival we will agree with the ideal menu for your group and will stock the pantry for you !

We had a very nice time at Manchuria. The property is in the mountains near Salgar, about a 20 minute drive up a twisting and steep dirt road off the main roadway. Make sure you have a tall vehicle. We did not, but the staff at the property were very accommodating by letting us leave our cars down below at their office building in a safe parking lot and taking us and our luggage up in one of their SUVs. The views from the property are incredible, and the pool was a great way to spend the afternoons. The staff took care of all our needs from cooking to lighting a bonfire for us at night to playing music for us and even singing for us! Tatiana was excellent! We had our 91-year old grandmother with us, and she took care of all her needs during our stay. We hiked up to the next property one day (also owned by the same people) and the staff there were waiting for us with water and juice and welcomed us onto the property with a greeting and a smile. We opted to have all our food prepared for us by the house. Everything was delicious and the menu was customized for us based on our needs, even including a separate menu for 91-year-old grandma. The beds were all clean and very comfortable. Sleeping to the sounds of rain and waking up with the sounds of nature was very relaxing. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would definitely return.
A few notes for improvement:
1. We were a large group of 13 staying for two nights, and our rooms were not cleaned for the entire stay. It would have been nice to have had fresh towels, sheets, etc. for our second day.
2. The trash cans in each bathroom are not too hygienic. You have to touch the lid to open them. Considering that soiled toilet paper has to go into the trash can, there should be a hands-free way to throw out toilet paper.
3. Four people in our group fell ill with food poisoning the second night. It is important that the property ensure proper cold food handling, wash all fruits and vegetables with filtered water, and prepare all foods and drinks with filtered water and to proper temperatures.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the property. With a few adjustments, Manchuria could go from excellent to perfect!
