ENJOY panoramic ocean views from this amazingly appointed oceanfront home on an over sized lot located on the desirable West End of the Island. This rare oceanfront location sits neatly between the waters of the Atlantic ocean and the Montgomery Slough Sound. Take your choice - a swim in the ocean or drop the kayak in the slough for some backside water fun. An exclusive part of Oak Island with hardly anyone to share it with! Sit on the expansive AQUAHOLIC decks while you renew and relax, enjoying picture perfect ocean views, stunning sunsets, and tranquil breezes. Watch boats cruise by and dolphins at play. The bedrooms in this home boast stunning ocean AND marsh views. THE SPACE consists of 2500 sq. feet of living area and utilizes an OPEN floor plan. The house is tastefully decorated with a soothing, neutral palette. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, making this house very comfortable for 15 guests. The main living area includes an updated kitchen with new cabinets and flooring, stainless appliances, solid surface counters, a dining area and a large living room. A wall of windows let in lots of natural light as well as breathtaking ocean views. Updates include a metal roof, siding, and gourmet kitchen with every gadget you could ever need to cook your fresh catch. What We’re Doing for your SAFETY: Practicing Social Distancing with Keyless Entry – A unique keyless entry code provides the ability to go directly to the vacation rental without the need for person-to-person contact. Increasing the Rigor of Cleaning Procedures – To provide clean and safe accommodations, following CDC recommendations, we are increasing the rigor of cleaning and disinfecting using EPA-registered household disinfectants. As such, early check-ins and late check-outs are suspended indefinitely. Should you arrive early, please plan to go to the beach or find another activity that keeps you away from the house so the cleaning crew can properly disinfect before your stay. The cleaners ask that you not leave your belongings in the house, or congregate by the pool prior to check in. PROPERTY DETAILS SLEEPS 15. First floor: (bedrooms #1 & #2) TWO master suites that boast stunning ocean AND marsh views, each with private bathrooms. Upstairs, master suite (#3) with private bath, and bedroom #4 with 2 queen beds and full bath. Also on the second floor, you’ll enjoy one large (#5) bunk room for the kids with custom made twin beds (3) and twin trundles (2). All three upstairs bedrooms offer water views from every angle. THE AMENITIES are many, beginning with covered parking and lighting. You will also have access to a 12'6" x 26’ private pool and outdoor shower (the pool can be heated for an additional fee). Relax after dinner in the 7 person HOT TUB which sits right on the oceanfront deck overlooking the water. Smart TVs are in ALL FIVE BEDROOMS and the living room. A portable crib and high chair are available for your use. All Aquaholic beach rentals include bed and bath linens for all stays. There will be some beach chairs and boogie boards for your use. Please plan to BRING YOUR OWN beach/pool towels. WALK to the Blue Point Marina to launch your boat/kayak or paddle board. You will love all that OKI has to offer; miles of sandy dog-friendly beaches, fishing piers, Town parks, recreation center, tennis courts, golf courses, shopping, restaurants and more - there is truly something for everyone. HOUSEKEEPING - AQUAHOLIC is owned and managed by its owners, and is cared for by the same housekeepers every week. The home is cleaned for your arrival every Saturday morning throughout the summer. An island resident/handyman is available for maintenance issues when guests are in residence. PET POLICY We love our pets and want to share our home with you and yours. We welcome up to two, well behaved dogs at AQUAHOLIC. We are committed to a CLEAN and PEST FREE environment. Monthly maintenance and pest control services are provided as well as DEEP CLEANING between renters. Please allow us to keep AQUAHOLIC PET FRIENDLY by respecting our policies and pre-treating your pet at home for fleas/ticks. The PET FEE is $90 for the first dog and an additional $50 for a second dog. There are 4 pet friendly restaurants in Oak Island that welcome dogs at their outdoor tables (Bob’s Dogs, Kai Joe’s, Shagger Jack’s and The Lazy Turtle). Dogs that are leashed are permitted year round on Oak Island beaches. Dogs are allowed off their leash from October 16 until March 15 from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. in locations marked by beach access signs.

This is our 2nd time staying in this wonderful home. We have rented many beaches in the past and this one by far has every amenity you could want and the kitchen has more supplies than mine at home has! Highly recommend!!

This house was ideal for a multigenerational family vacation. The bedroom layout was perfect and allowed for everyone to have their own space with a view! The location was a 10/10 right on the beach with gorgeous views. Everything about this home was conducive to a wonderful family vacation. The host was very communicative and helpful and answered all of our questions. We hope to stay again in the future!

We had a wonderful time at the property. It had the best stocked kitchen in terms of cooking. With small children, keeping it simple with meals is key.
Also the toys, outdoor equipment and games added to an amazing experience for all ages 1-63 years young.
Communication back and forth with the owners was quick, efficient and so helpful.
I would love to bring my family back to relax, reconnect and create more memories.

Our family Definitely enjoyed this beautiful calming beach house. From the pool/hot tub, and short walk to the ocean, it was all amazing. Plenty of games/activities to enjoy while here and plenty of restaurants and attractions near. Will definitely be back next year

Beautiful house and property! Appreciated the individual bedroom suites with bathroom! Kids room was amazing, fun, and perfect! Couldn't have asked for a better place! Kitchen had everything needed. Would rent again and highly recommend! Spacious and enough privacy for everyone!

It was gray and raining most of the time but we didn’t care! The house is lovely, well appointed and comfortable! To wake up and sit on the back deck with our coffee, looking out to the ocean was amazing. Our pups enjoyed people watching from the back deck as well. Cocktail hour in the hot tub was magnificent! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We didn’t spend much time by the pool but when we return we will enjoy the swinging bed next to it, along with plenty of seating and shade. An outdoor grill where we grilled fish was excellent to have and the outdoor shower we loved too!
The owners clearly put a lot of thought and care into a total comfort package. Highly recommend! We were sad to pull out today but we look forward to returning.

“Aquaholic” is well maintained and clean. Patrick (the owner) was communicative and thorough.
The beach is easily accessed over the dunes in just a short distance. No beach wagons required!
The house is very close to the “Point,” the westernmost portion of the island, where we launched kayaks, SUP’s and a lot of bait!

The vacation spot we were looking for. Brilliant views of the ocean from an open concept kitchen/dining/living area. Massive wide covered patio. Immediate access to a private beach. Responsive and available owner (and very nice!). 4 of the bedrooms have their own en suite private bathroom - so each family has their own quiet space. Well laid out. Just exactly what we all wanted. First family vacation in years.
Aquaholic was a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. We loved the beach access and private pool. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had in years. We had our entire family and made wonderful memories. It was grandma's first vacation in 34 years, so she was thrilled with the accommodations. The hosts were very easy to get in touch with if any problems arose and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely visit again!

Oak Island Dream
Such a lovely place to spend a week or three! In my mind, this is the quintessential NC beach house: swing on the front porch to watch the sunset over the inland side, rocking chairs on the deep covered back porch to watch the sunrise over the ocean, directly on the beach so that you can step right out first thing in the morning to hunt for shells, and a lovely saltwater swimming pool that has just the right mix of shade and sun. Inside, it has a beautiful open kitchen with everything you need for cooking, plenty of dining space for the whole family, a super-cute vintage kids’ table, and a really cozy vibe. Best of all, it has four separate adult suites, all with their own hallways, closets, and full bathrooms, and the coolest kids’ room with *five* twin beds with trundles low to the ground, perfect for the under-five set. Baby gate and crib are tucked away in a closet too. The hosts were super-nice and thought of everything you could want, and we can’t wait to stay there again next year!

This house is perfect for a large or extended family. We were 8 adults and 4 kids, ages 8 to 83, and the set up was perfect. The owner/manager was extremely responsive to any requests. Kitchen was completely stocked and then some. Location is great and far enough away from everything that it was quiet but still convenient. Pool and hot tub were top notch although nobody came by to treat the tub or pool at any point in the week. Many homes have pools on second level with a view but we were happy to be able to get out of the wind on the first level.
Complaints were beach chairs were rusted and tiny and not enough provided. Manager had more delivered when we asked for them but still only had 6 working chairs for 12 people. There is no outdoor eating area. A sturdy picnic table (heavy duty resin) would have worked perfectly on upper deck. I've seen those things hold still in class 5 hurricanes in the Caribbean. The small table by the pool has 4 chairs.
I didn't realize we would be required to make our own beds (all 8 of them) after what was a long trip for us. No bath mats provided with towels. One dirty mat hanging in upstairs master. I think for the price of the house it would be a small thing for the beds to be made. I also think that beach towels should be provided at a beach house although this was disclosed in the description. We went down to Kings Beachwear and bought beach towels at two for $10. Would be easy enough to provide. I understand that towels can get lost or stolen but it is a small price of doing business. The grill was left dirty from previous tenants.
All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable property and would rent again.

Beautiful House steps from beach
Aquaholic was beautiful and clean. It fit our large family well. The house was well stocked and was just as described and pictured. The beach was very quiet. Patrick checked in with us during our stay and was easy to contact before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this rental.

Perfect Winter Get Away!
This was the perfect place to enjoy some family time with our kids while they were home from college on winter break! The house is beautiful! The owners seem to have thought of everything a vacationing family might need, from kitchen appliances (who would have expected an ice cream maker?!) to pool toys to rocking chairs on the covered porch overlooking the ocean. Aquaholics is heaven. We can’t wait to return!

Our group included an extended family with grandparents, married adult children and 7 grandchildren. The accommodations were spacious, the kitchen well stocked for cooking, and there were inside and beachtoys for kids . Along with the beautifully maintained home the pool and hot tub were pristine.

Would rent here again. Owners were great to work with and property was well kept. Felt spacious for 8 adults and three teenagers and two small dogs. Being directly on the beach was awesome too.

Everything we hoped for multiplied by 1000!
The moment we opened the door to Aquaholic, we were greeted by a spectacular view and the amenities of a five-star hotel, yet the comfort of a home. Our entire family had plenty of room for privacy as well as cooking, dining and gathering together. The games, child-sized table, televisions in each bedroom, pool toys and beach toys were appreciated by our younger family members. But, they loved the private pool most of all. The kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation and service. So many dishes! We were amazed how close the house is to the beach. It was wonderful to sit on both the upper and lower decks and watch the waves, wildlife and swimmers. We fell asleep each night to the sound of waves crashing against the shore. The owners were so kind to make recommendations for special local events and happenings. Oak Island provided us the opportunity to swim, ride the waves, sunbathe, kayak, shop and sample the local cuisine. Something for everyone. The farmers market was also a plus. A special shout out to the cleaning crew - the home was spotless when we arrived! This home, on this beach, was the perfect vacation location for our family. We can’t wait to come back to Aquaholic!

This beach house is absolutely wonderful. The location on the West end of the island is perfect, it’s not crowded and it seems more quiet than the East end. Walking the beach and looking at the other beachfront houses it appears that this property is one of the best-not all of the properties have a pool or hot tub. Our group ranged in age from 2 to 67 and everyone had plenty of space and privacy. We cooked most of our meals in the gourmet kitchen, it has everything you could possibly need. Four bedrooms have their own bathroom which is super nice and the rooms felt very private and quiet. Each room has its own TV as well. The kids room is complete with games, toys and books among other helpful things like a stool and extra blankets. There’s plenty of books, magazines, card and board games, and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. The decor is very tasteful and updated, especially the kitchen and main living area. There’s even a Bose radio in the living room. The owner truly thought of everything, we really had everything we needed. The pool has a very shallow section which is great for younger kids and next to the pool is a ton of toys for either the pool or beach. The hot tub is also amazing with views of the ocean from the top deck. There are rocking chairs on a covered deck which is ideal for shade seekers or those wanting to enjoy a cup of coffee while overlooking the ocean. The beach is not crowded at all and early morning walks on the beach are amazing. There is a swing on the front porch to enjoy the sunrise/sunset over the marsh. There are two refrigerators which is a must with a large group. The small kids table is great for meals. The washer and dryer is also great to be able to use. The outdoor shower was a big hit with both the kids and adults, it even has hot water. The kids were fortunate enough to see sea turtle eggs being moved in the dunes and were provided a mini lesson about them. The Italian Ice cart on the beach was really good. The owner is such a nice person and very helpful and responsive. I cannot say enough great things about this property. I did a lot of research to find the perfect beach house for our group and this property definitely pleased everyone. We cannot wait to visit again.
