The Sail Loft

Good location for the beach, Southwold and Walberswick. Free parking, WiFi. We had a very comfortable en-suite bedroom with a small terrace. Friendly, efficient, hard working and cheerful staff. Breakfasts delicious, nice variety and good selection of coffees. We had two evening in house meals both excellent. Both nights very busy but served with little fuss. Relaxed atmosphere. We would highly recommend The Sail Loft. Thanks to all the staff for making our long weekend in Suffolk so special.

Nothing to really dislike apart from slight squeak from floorboards from occupants above in early morning!

3rd visit and will be back asap...

The bedrooms were exceptionally clean and wonderful. Food delish. Location gorgeous.

Main bar/restaurant ready for a paint in places 😅 but appreciate hospitality is difficult so they have done super well to maintain the wonderful vibe and standard.

Very disappointed with breakfast as on arrival my wife asked if they had soya milk because of intolerance to dairy, she was told yes we do, at breakfast the waiter when she asked said no only oat milk, fortunately she had bought some long life with her in a flask and had oatifkakes cereal with her too, so she just asked for a bowl and spoon. They didn't seem very interested on her needs. I was expecting a full English breakfast but it was all put into a wrap, which was not good. Also the table was sticky. We didn't stay for breakfast the second morning. I wonder how people with certain allergies would get on here!
