Very nice place and era

Great accessibility and green environment, very functional, comfortable home, well taken care of.

The stay could be made more comfortable by providing more basic utilities, such as soap (hands, dishes), more toilet paper.

Good location, very quiet. Car parking in front of the house. Nice patio furniture.

The property is very well located for visiting several of the main valleys and circuses - Point d'Espagne, Gavarnie, Estaube, Troymouse Azure, etc The property has two very nice terraces and is well equipped. It is very clean and warm. I think it would also be a great place to stay in summer as well as winter - all year round.

There is a double bedroom downstairs but the upstairs bedroom is accessed using stairs. These are a bit steep for older people who are less sure on their legs. It wasn't a major problem for me but I did come down on my backside during the night as opposed to walking down.

The "Mountain nest" makes a great vacation home. As its name suggests, it's located in a very peaceful area in the mountains of Aucun. It's a very large house (bigger in real life than in the photos), with three bedrooms, each with a queen bed and an additional single bed. The bedrooms are on the second floor, while the living room and kitchen are on the first floor. It was great to have a shower with a high water flow. The host, Maryline, is very friendly and welcoming. She was very responsive to our requests and offered her assistance whenever we needed it.

WiFi is ok, but not great. We were surprised to see that some consumables were provided only for the first day (toilet paper, trash bags). Perhaps this is common in this area, but it was new to us.
