Location of the property, the beauty and landscape and view from the balcony

Serene woods is located deep inside coffee plantations. Exceptional views of the mountains and vast coffee plantations with a mist covered atmosphere (mist and rain depends on the season). Since we travelled during the monsoon period, it was always wet and rain, with mist cover almost all the time
The rooms are very spacious and has good balcony views (depending on the room selection). Geyser is available and hot water is not a problem at all. It has kettle and refrigerator as well. TV has internet based OTT apps like Netflix, YouTube, Prime.
Adding to this, the staff were the best. They had given their 100 percent to make us feel comfortable through out. Special thanks to Mr. Binu. The resort has an indoor play area where kids can spend time playing with toys.
Food is good and is freshly prepared and we have to finalise the menu in advance so that it can be prepared.
Madikeri town is just 3kms from here but the location of the resort feels like its very far from the town.
We couldn't go an estate tour as it was raining throughout. From the dining area we could see a mini water falls downstream but it was not possible to reach there due to constant rain and high presence of leeches.
Parking space is available but its limited. The resort also offers pick up and drop.
The approach road is very narrow and very steep and rugged at certain places as it passes through multiple estates.
Overall it was exceptional, budget friendly resort with equally exceptional staff managing it.
During monsoon period there are high number of insects especially spiders and leeches. There can be leeches at dining areas and in room balcony as well. Get some anti leech repellent oils or creams if you're planning to visit during rainy season.

Great location, absolute peace , superb valley view among the coffee plantation. Individual cottages with privacy and a spacious balcony to relax .

Location and size of the room. There is greenery all around. There is a small stream of water as well to add to the beauty. The route to the estate is narrow and a bit bumpy but adventurous. The breakfast was very good. Dinner was a bit average. But overall good food.
The room felt outdated. This can be better designed to make it look exiting and clean. The balcony was supposed to be the best place with a cup of coffee but unfortunately there is no room service for whatsoever reason which made it a bit boring.
