The Neighborhood: Horseshoe Bay is an amazing community located in the Texas hill country and is about 1 hour from Austin, 2.5 hours from Houston and 3 hours from Dallas. One of the highlights is certainly Lake LBJ, as it is one of only 2 constant level lakes in the area. But Horseshoe Bay, has so much more to offer. There are over 8 golf courses within 15 miles. Fredricksburg and all the hill country vineyards are within an hours drive of the property. Horseshoe Bay Resort has become a large draw with fun events and concerts as well as weddings. Marble Falls is 15 minutes away and has alot of the fun restaurants, bars and night life. Getting Around: A car is required to get around Horseshoe Bay given its a more rural setting Other Things to Note: -- Policies -- - No smoking - 1 dog is permitted. Must be under 20 pounds. No puppies or aggressive breeds. $150 pet fee per stay. All dog information must be submitted in Rental Agreement - No parties or large gatherings. Smaller events or gatherings considered with prior homeowner approval and up to 20 total guests. Please include any questions/requests in your booking inquiry - Must be at least 25 years old to book - Per local ordinances, outdoor spaces have quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am. Please no loud noise. - Additional fees and taxes may apply - The swimming pool: It can be heated at an extra cost. If you would like the pool heated please contact us and we will set it up.
