The property is stunning- so much value for the money here. The nearby village of Almirante is also charming with many great restaurant options and a beautiful river that includes several public beaches. We spent an entire day just walking around the property, enjoying a leisurely breakfast from the picnic basket they delivered to your door (which is really enough for two meals), wine tasting at the small winery (it was harvest, and we could have joined in if my parents would have been able to understand the heat), drinking wine from the fridge.(an additional cost) and enjoying the pool, sauna, and hot tub. The cold plunge was not filled during our stay, which would’ve been nice since it was quite hot out. But every staff member was incredibly gracious, and we felt their care attention. We received a great dinner recommendation from the proprietor with the reservation made for us, and directions entered into our , to make our first jet lagged night on property easy. I would stay here again and again. Plus, their Alberino was delicious!
The bed could’ve been softer, but I think that’s an American preference. The beds were similar everywhere that we stayed in Portugal.

The farm is out and away from the hustle and bustel of the city so it was peaceful and quiet. In fact we didn't really see too many other people until we went to the swimming pool and then later to the spa.
Breakfast is delivered to the room at 9 ish in the morning. I would have thought that breakfast would be at 7 or 8. Nevertheless the selection in the basket was nice and pleanty.
