About this cabin rental
Situated in Canyon Ferry Lake, this lovely cabin for $385 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. A cozy home on Canyon Ferry west shore that has lake front access and views awaiting you and your family and friends. You will wake up to beautiful sunrises over the mountains as well as seeing beautiful sunsets. This cozy three-bedroom, two-bathroom lake house will accompany up to six guests with all the clean linens and towels provided. Enjoying your morning coffee in a peaceful setting on the large deck listening to the loons and geese while watching a breath-taking sunrise. You can relax while having breakfast, lunch and dinner right there by the water or cooking by the water while using the BBQ and outdoor furniture. There are endless activities that await you from fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming, hiking, sapphire mining, rock climbing or just relax and read a book or just watch activities on the water. There are all sorts of wildlife near and far to watch and enjoy as well. If you are the exploring type, there are gulches across the lake to take a ride up where gold was discovered. Helena is twenty miles away and offers several restaurants and all your shopping needs. There are daily tours of Helena and the historic alley also the state capital, the cathedral and governor's historic mansion. Helena is full of history, if you like that sort of thing. We would recommend for young children to be supervised due to the property is a bit rocky. There are nice sandy beaches down the road for playing in the sand. Parking is limited, no RVs or trailers. For those with boats, Yacht Basin Marina is a mile down the road, and Kim's marina is across the lake, you will want to call them to reserve a dock for your watercraft. There is high speed internet if people need to do little checking in for work or what have you. All you have to do is pack a bag and bring the food and drinks of your choice. The rest is there from coffee to linens and towels. As a kid and even as an adult I loved being there and never wants to leave once I am there. Hope you choose our lake house for your stay. This was a lovely place to rest, relax, and recharge. The house is well stocked. We enjoyed the deck, water, and local hiking.
Our only concern was the lack of phone service in case of an emergency.

The hosts were very responsive with my text questions before our trip. The bedding and towels were clean and smelled nice. There wasn't ac as stated in the ad, but it wasn't hot, so not a problem. I would recommend the hosts move the bird houses on the 2nd story. I believe they are for martins who eat mosquitos. Unfortunately, they poop all over the top deck. We couldn't use it at all. Otherwise, the stay was very nice.

Beautiful lake view!
We booked for the location on the lake! The deck was wonderful! My girls went paddle boarding and enjoyed the lake all day. We did puzzles and played games in the evenings. Thank you!

A real find!
It’s a nicely laid out house, comfortable and convenient and in excellent condition, and very well arranged for leisurely lakeside lounging-about. The natural beauty and peacefulness of the setting surprised us in the best possible way.

Cabin on the water
The cabin sits right on the Missouri River, which is more a lake because of the dam. Quiet, peaceful views from the shore, deck, and balcony including incredible sunrises. Cabin was clean, has the essentials including 2 showers with good water pressure and 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. A short drive to Helena for any shopping, restaurants and sights.

House was great complete with nice cookware and a few basics. Nice linens & towels. Water was nice, thank you for having couple kayaks & life jackets for us. Driveway is VERY steep, as well as walk down to the water. Would be nice if there was even a small deck to access water better, but overall we enjoyed.

The cabin was fantastic. The front deck just made you sit and visit and relax. Everything you could need was available. The lake was low, but we were able to dock the boat at Yacht Basin. They were also super helpful and kind. Just a perfect getaway for our family traveling from different parts of the state.

It was an amazing month at this property. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Loved sitting on the deck watching the boats in the late afternoon. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. Helena is only 25 min away and there are two marinas close by.

Jill and Mike’s house was just perfect for our group of friends for a Labor Day weekend getaway! Highly recommend if you are boating, very close to yacht basin, Kim’s marina is just across the way as well. We used Helena boat rentals and they were great!

Lovely Lake front getaway
We had a wonderful family vacation at Jill and Mike's home. As mentioned before, the pictures do not do it justice. You can tell they have done a lot of remodeling recently. The flooring is all new, the bathrooms have been recently remodeled and the outside as well. The bedrooms upstairs have new carpet and are light and roomy. We had the opportunity to meet the neighbors on both sides, very nice people. Thanks again for sharing your home with our family.

Relaxing
We had a very nice stay, good weather, warm water. The house was close to Helena so our son join us when work and school allowed. The house is clean comfortable and well taken care of. We had no issues and the owner’s are very nice to deal with. Thank you Mike and Jill for letting us share your cabin. I would definitely like to come back in the future.

How often can you say that the pictures do not really do a place justice. The pictures are accurate, but don't manage to convey just how nice this property is! Our whole family commented on the beauty, comfort and amenities of this cabin! Mike was a great communicator; really appreciated. Cell service for us was pretty spotty, so be sure to take the property details with you and find and READ the welcome book upon arrival! :)
