The property is out of this world. The views and the house itself was very impressive. The gardens just beautiful with interesting sculptures. The house is more spectacular than the pictures and you would never get tired of sitting in the conservatory looking out. The hot tub was a huge bonus and perfectly placed. The 3 bathrooms were exceptionally large and the 3 bedrooms upstairs were all massive and very comfortable. There is another house attached so if your looking to party late it’s not suitable however it was super perfect and blissful for us as we were on a family trip for my father in laws 80th who loves country and westerns. It’s absolutely perfect for family trips or a relaxing getaway. Scarfell pike and wast water is a stone throw away. There are many wonderful walks near by. We thought the value for what we paid was exceptional. Large living area and perfect size kitchen for us. We were a party of 7 including one toddler.
There isn’t anything I don’t like. If I had to pick anything which wasn’t a major deal then the bbq wasn’t the best but there was another guest garden with a slightly better bbq up the path if needed but it was a little away from the house for us. The kitchen facilities were perfect tho so we managed to do our ranch grill from the kitchen.

We loved the remote location, the uniqueness of the property and the stunning views. It provided every ounce of peace and quiet we hoped for and was a great location for getting to where we needed to be for our hill climbs.
Just a small thing because we wouldn't usually need to watch the TV - it was only because the England v Holland match. There was no access to terrestrial TV channels (which would have meant we could watch the match without a problem) and the streaming platforms available just kept buffering which meant we didn't get to see any of it on the TV. Instead we sat on the floor (our plug wouldn't fit in the plug socket next to the coffee table and the cable wasn't long enough to reach the other socket) and watched it on a small laptop screen using a wi-fi hotspot.

Locatuon was beautiful. Lovely house.
No infornarion on local amenities. The host told me to look it up on the internet.
