Located in Siesta Beach, this attractive condo for $209 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Siesta Dreams Penthouse - OceanViews, Roof Deck, Private Beach Path, in Siesta Village! This is “The Siesta Dreams”, a Gertrude Rentals property. Spacious, Fully Renovated, Ocean View Penthouse Apartment in the World Famous Siesta Key Village. You will lounge, dine and drink while you soak in sea breezes, ocean views (partial), and the worlds best sunsets. Rooftop-sundeck, private beach path, balcony dining, huge living room, and all of it Westerly facing. Just 60 steps from Siesta Keys world famous beach. Just 1 block to the best shopping, dining, and entertainment in the Village. It's the best unit in the building and sure to provide a combination of luxury and island-living you can't get in other getaways. For larger groups, ask about additional accommodations. The Location - This will be “easy” just like vacations are supposed to be. Located on the highly coveted West side of Beach Rd. It's about 60 steps on a shell road to the beach path and just a one-block walk to all the best of the Siesta Village - fresh oysters, seafood, tropical drinks, ice cream, entertainment, and even gourmet donuts. The rooftop has views of Siesta Beach and the Gulf of Mexico with chaise loungers and al fresco dining. It's just right for enjoying a quiet cup of coffee, good book, cocktail(s), or an al-fresco meal. The beaches here are the widest on the island, have panoramic views of the gulf to the North-West-and-South, and are the top spot in North America for viewing sunsets. The water is shallow clear and calm with white quartz-sand tide-pools perfect for sleeping drinking or playing. You can swim or “often” wade to Sand Dollar Island, a naturally occurring white sand cay popular with dolphin's sand-dollars and “occasionally” giant-conch. This is the only spot on Siesta where you can go from the water to lunch or dinner and back to the sand without putting on your shirt and shoes. History – This property backs up to Tenacity Lane where Betty Boardman Kruse, our good friend's grandmother once lived. Betty won control of this beachfront Siesta Key neighborhood after a much publicized 7-year fight with a rival. That year the Sarasota Herald Tribune published an article about her victory headlined “Tenacity Wins!” and Betty named the street after it. Beach Gear - Correction for Air-b-n-b listings. We provide beach towels and beach chairs at every location, umbrellas and carts at most locations, and do not provide "snorkeling gear" at any locations. Sorry for the confusion. Snorkelling gear can be rented or purchased nearby. Support Post Booking - I understand vacation time is precious and I will make sure you get the most out of it. My number is the only contact information you need. My units are at the top attractions on the island. Cars are never required, but you will have private parking near the unit. Check-in any day of the week at any time using your private door-code. No requirement ever at checkout. Free early check-in when possible. Never hidden fees or solicitations. Every unit including this one is available for instant booking. When you book with me you get a fully accessible and knowledgeable owner/host and reliable advice from a G-approved local expert. I can recommend the best spot for fishing or fresh fish, Michigan or Ohio State games, romantic-dinners marriage-proposals or singles, Eco-tourism, family friendly activities, or safe ways to lose your kids when you need a break. Events are not allowed. Terms - Payments are 50% refundable when canceled at least 60 days before arrival. Payments are not refundable when canceled less than 60 days before arrival. Events or gatherings involving outside guests are only allowed with prior approval from the management. Guest agrees to hold the Property Manager and Owner harmless from any liability for injuries while on vacation. *If you prefer insured bookings, we recommend providers Generali and Rental Guardian for Trip-Protection coverage.

The penthouse was absolutely wonderful! We had a little issue with the cleanliness, but the property manager sent someone over and got us fixed right up. It was a bit cold at the beach during our stay so we stayed in quite a bit and were super pleased with the apartment. Hopefully we can return in the summer!

This is our second time booking through Gertrude Rentals for Siesta Key and we have already booked for next year. The place we stayed was great. The service we get from Dan with Gertrude is awesome and the timeliness of his email response is immediate. The biggest compliment I can give is that we are already booked for next year. We enjoyed our stay at the penthouse. It was perfect distance to all of the attractions of siesta key as well as the beach. There are many amenities included such as beach chairs and pull carts and bikes, etc..
The only constructive criticism I would have is that the property could be a bit cleaner. Nothing major, but general cleanliness due to it being close to the beach, and obviously rented quite often… The property manager was responsive and wonderful to work with.

Great location made for a great vacation! This place allows for a short walk to both the beach access and village - no need to use a car. The spaces, the furniture and the beds were comfortable. The place was clean but could use a deep cleaning. Also, a lamp in the living room would be nice since the only light was part of a ceiling fan and it was dim. The peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the living room and deck was really nice but the view from the rooftop deck was superb and we enjoyed spending time up there. Communication with the rental company was excellent, easily the best I have ever experienced. Check-in and check-out was a breeze, the rental agency makes everything super easy. We would definitely rent this place again.

The unit itself was just like the photos. Location is very convenient to stores, restaurants and bars. Very updated as far as the unit was concerned but the downstairs lobby and stairs (no elevator) were dingy and poorly lit. We had noise issues with the occupants on the first floor one of the 3 nights they were there. And each night, vitally all night, it sounded like there was someone walking across the roof.

Great location right next to public beach access and siesta key village, tons of bars and restaurants to explore. The condo was spacious, open bright living space and plenty of beds for larger party groups. Definitely a great pick if you’re in Siesta Key!

Perfect suite in terms of size, fit & finishes and offerings - the property manager supplies all necessities for your stay, all beach towels, and lots of beach equipment. The check-in process was flawless and the comms from the property manager was the best I've seen to date. The location is perfect as its within walking distance to the beach and walking distance to the main town area of Siesta Key. Would definitely recommend it and I will stay there again!

Beautiful apartment responsive host and the location is unbeatable. You’re steps away from a gorgeous beach. 4 min walk to the coffee shop which is right in the middle of town near everything. Food drinks music beach and you come back to this great apartment. Spacious modern clean with all amenities. Will rent again if it’s available.

After our original place to stay fell far short of expectations, we were stuck with no place to stay. We found this amazing place and the owner Dan worked with VRBO and us to make sure our vacation ending up being everything we hoped for and more. This property may be a little more than others but it's totally worth it. Very spacious, plenty of beds, modern everything, and a beach view. I really liked that the extra stuff some places don't typically supply like extra paper towels, dish soap, paper plates etc were readily available upon arrival. Definitely on our list to stay next time in siesta key. A few small imperfections, but it's a rental so just normal wear and tear. I highly recommend staying here.

We were two families with kids ranging from 7-11 years old. The apartment was a short walk to town and an easy stroll down a private path to a relatively uncrowded part of Siesta Key Beach. The apartment was large enough to accommodate the two families with the four kids sleeping in the third bedroom with bunk beds and a pull out. Great place all around!

The inside of the apartment was nicely decorated. Aside from the wear and tear of the recliner, everything else was good.
I would not classify this property as a Penthouse. It’s somewhat deceiving to do so. The roof top, it’s a small shared space and not exclusive to the apartment.

We had a great stay. I love that we were kept up to date about the property after hurricane Ian and prior to our stay. The location is perfect, close to beach and village. This was my fourth stay and by far the best path to the beach. Walking on grass rather than trudging through sand. Dan did an excellent job with informing us of everything we needed to know and I had no questions or any reason to ever have to contact him. The place was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Well stocked. I Definitely recommend.

This condo was exactly what we wanted. The location is ideal…it’s about a 5 minute walk to the soft sandy beach and 5 minutes to the Village. Garage had everything you need for the beach too. Dan was also easily accessible when we had a question. Thanks for a lovely stay.

PH in Siesta Key is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect. Just steps from the beach, shops and restaurants. The property owner provided everything needed for a great vacation, including beach chairs and umbrellas. We had a wonderful time.
