A family run B&B with a cozy ambience. The owners also have a lovely bakery with delicious baked goods made by the owners wife . An amazing and generous breakfast was served and they accommodated me with GF bread and goodies .

We had a fantastic stay at this Kala B&B.
The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and featured a big and beautifully renovated bathroom. From the room, we enjoyed a magnificent view of the mountains. Moreover, the B&B is situated in a beautiful and quiet location and is the ideal base for discovering all the sights of Northwest Slovenia. The host family was incredibly friendly and ensured a warm welcome from the very first moment. The breakfast was truly impressive: every day an extensive selection of charcuterie, fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, and delicious pastries. There was so much choice that we were even allowed to put together a packed lunch to take with us on our excursions. The only minor downside is that we didn't have the chance to taste the beautiful homemade cakes. That gives us a good reason to come back again! We highly recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to visit the region and looking for comfort, hospitality, and an excellent location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, with a modern bathroom and a balcony looking out to the surrounding mountains. The B&B is located around 5 minutes from the centre of town, and was the perfect base for daily hiking trips.
The highlight of the accommodation is without doubt the owner and his son who looked after us attentively throughout our stay. They were always on hand, providing service with a smile and a nice comment. The breakfasts were more than generous, providing us with plenty of fuel for hiking in the mountains. The B&B also doubles up as a cake shop which is as impressive as the accommodation. All of the cakes are homemade and fresh, which was a real treat after a long day of hiking. There were not many parking spaces, but it was free and there always a spot for us.

If I had to say something it would be that the beds are a bit squeaky, but this should not put you off as they are still very comfortable.
