La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jackson-Cape Girardeau

Clean, comfortable beds, location is excellent, and most of the staff is very accommodating and friendly.

The bathroom floor was very dirty, but was probably from using old mop water.

Was close to where we were going. Was clean

The cashier reception people were not knowledgeable about the area when asked questions. Breakfast was not very good with little choices.

Apparently there are pillow thieves so they only have a limited number on the beds. Our king room had two standard size pillows and one smaller square pillow. It looked strange. I asked for another pillow and was told I had to go to the desk and pick up and sign a document. They seemed very shocked when I returned the pillow the next morning and requested a copy of the signed document with their signature that I returned the pillow. What’s the point of adding the temp charge for incidentals? Charge the pillow thieves, don’t punishes everyone else! The smoke detector in the room flashed all night long. When I told the clerk, he acted like that is normal. We went to breakfast at 9:30, they were out of most everything. Another guest said they thought they were preparing more so we sat down and waited. At 9:45 she brought out more sausage. I went over and asked if she was bring more eggs and was told they were getting ready to close at 10:00 so they wouldn’t be preparing anything else. Don’t offer breakfast until 10 if you’re not going to keep it stocked!
