Rooms are clean and are cleaned regularly, towels are clean and changed as needed. Room had a fridge with a freezer and a tray for making ice cubes - very helpful if you want to enjoy the view from the balcony with a drink. There was also a sink and basic kitchen appliances - you could make a proper meal there. Bathroom was properly stocked, had dryer and a bunch of spare toilet paper. Balcony had a table, ashtray, two chairs and a foldable dryer to hand your things after a day on the beach. The staff was outstanding, very helpful and polite, everyone was smiling :) The general vibe of countryside house did a ton to make our stay perfect - behind the building, on the way to the beach bar where you can check in, there's a garden with vegetables that are actually used to make your meal. On that note, we chose option with breakfast - there's a predefined selection of meals. They were tasty and big to the point that we were just skipping dinner and went to taverns in nearby Kavros for supper. The location is very good - it's basically on the beach, yet there are no other buildings in the neighborhood to annoy you. Beach was clean and sandy - don't treat it as a given on Crete as there are a lot of placed with rocky beaches that are unpleasant to walk on. We stayed on the first week of September and the beach was not crowded - we always had beach chair for two (for guests it's free), a place to walk and a place to swim without being trumped by other people.
There is a problem with sounds in the building, in general. You hear quite a lot of sounds from other rooms - I assume this is because: a) there's no carpets on the corridor - they are finished with stone, looks very nice, but it transfer sounds, and b) room doors have no seals, no dampening materials, etc - just an ordinary home room doors.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful clean bedding and towels, comfortable bed. Breakfast was outstanding. The apartment had everything we needed. So peaceful.
The sheet was too small for the bed. There wasn't enough hot water, I had a cold shower both at night and in the morning.
