Comfort Suites Kennewick at Southridge

Nice large room, kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and a good location near many restaurants

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room nice and it was clean.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that bathtub/shower didn’t have safety rails for elderly people.

Great Breakfast

Right on the Highway -- the Hotel told me after i booked, it can get loud here.

This is a very nice hotel. It was clean, modern, ant the breakfast was average

Unfortunately, this hotel was built very close to highway 395 so the traffic noise all night was very annoying. The hotel obviously knows about the problem because they offered us a queen room with apparently less noise via a text message before we arrived but we didn’t see it. We had stayed at the Hampton Inn right next door and never experienced that level of noise so we thought it woul be okay. In the morning, we noticed that the Hampton Inn was built a couple hundred feet farther away from the highway, which is likely the reason we had not experienced traffic noise at our previous Hampton Inn stays. If Comfort Suites had disclosed the traffic noise problem up front, we would not have booked. It’s really sad, by all other measures, this is a very nice place to stay. But we expected a good nights sleep, which was impossible for us due to traffic noise all nights. I even turned the blower to continuous to try and drown out the traffic noise. Very disappointing stay for us.
