The suite room was excellent. Main highlight was the bathtub, big enough to fit two people :) We liked a lot the design of the room. One can change the lights to different ambient, I found it really cool. Breakfast is excellent, the omelet was absolutely superb, the variety of food was big, I did not manage to try it all :) The resting area is very nice, with sun chairs and possibility to get a drink, there are some board/card games available. We liked that bar has a lot of regional beverages and impressive collection of gin. Sauna was nice, not so crowded in summer :) We liked the possibility to get a flavored water or tea and some snacks. Overall the stay was very pleasant and we will definitely go back. And we are looking forward to all the promised improvements, including the swimming pool :)
Basically small things and rather suggestions for the future.
In the room there was only one chair, would be nice to have two (there was a stool at a desk but not really for longer siting).
Sauna area would benefit from the better organize outdoor part. The wooden beds are very low and sturdy (some broken) and for a bigger person an absolute no go. So perhaps that is something to be changed.

Individuell, liebevoll gestaltet in jeder noch so kleinen Ecke der Anlage. Sehr modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Essen und Trinken in gehobener Qualität. Zimmer geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet.
Die Dusche war ungünstig konstruiert, sodass das Wasser unter den Badtisch gelaufen ist. Es ist auf Dauer ein wenig eintönig. Eventuell helfen kleine Outdoor Events, was das Areal absolut hergibt, um die Leute auch nachhaltig am Hotel zu halten.

Towels were not changed automatically. Distance to city center. Cold outdoor water tube was empty.

the breakfast was luxurous, the bar was also a nice place to sit. But one night there was a band playing and they told us we only could sit outside (autumn...nah) we figured out that there were nice seats in the spa area. Strange that they didn't mention that at the bar. Our room only had 1 chair and we just wanted to relax and read a book. The hotel is nicely located in a nice village, where there is a lot to do for tourists.
Maybe I should have read more reviews and better checked the pictures. But even the deluxe rooms were so small. My husband and son are tall (2m) and didn't sleep well in the rather short and small beds. Bathroom was so small, we couldn't close the door when he sat on the toilet. There was no daily roomservice, unless you specifically requested for it. The thing in Germany is; it works perfectly when there are set rules and order. This hotel is so proud of its 'laissez faire' attitude. And in our eyes it is a disaster. For example; There was a fire alarm the first night. A young man, looking at his iphone comes and says; I'm only gonna say it once. It was some water damp in the kitchen, just go back to your rooms. Then the police arrives and says; no way you are going back, we wait for the fire brigade and follow protocol. They have to declare the building safe first. This is so un-German. No body offered us to wait in the bar, it was 22.00 and most of us were in pyjamas waiting outside. No drinks, no make up offers, no excuses for the neglected water damp issue in the kitchen area. But the offending of the safety protocol was really bad. There is no main entrance so nobody tells you good morning or good night, you can just enter the area, even without a key card. That doesn't feel safe. It isn't a cheap hotel, but they expect you to clean up your table after breakfast. This is just not my idea of a hotel. After 4 days, the branding of the 'hearts' started annoying me. They better put more energy in real hospitality, safety and some order. For us this concept doesn't work, maybe i'm just getting old (51), but expected something different. I have to clean the table and make up the beds at home too and that's why I didn't book a B&B. Mother needs some vacation sometimes too.
