Situated in Wellfleet, this attractive house for $300 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This house is the perfect spot for active outdoors lovers. Chipman's cove shore is just steps away. Indian Neck Beach, where you can easily launch your SUP or kayak, is a just moments away as well and is possibly the quietest beach on the Cape. You are just a short ride away from the Cape Cod Rail Trail allowing for access bike path access all the way to Provincetown on some of the most secluded and beautiful roads on the Cape. Hop in the car and you will be within minutes on the National Seashore with particularly easy access to the Beachcomber, White Crest Beach, and Newcomb Hollow Beach. The house is located in a quiet loop-road neighborhood yet minutes from Wellfleet's restaurants, boutique shops and art galleries, and harbor; famous French bakery PB is a 6-min drive away. The house itself has an open floor concept with vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring, and understated, tasteful décor for easy living. The living area gives you ample seating for 6. The dining area located in the porch has seating for six and double doors open onto the back deck. The RECENTY UPDATED L-shaped kitchen features a well stocked kitchen. Just off the kitchen are two guest rooms and full bath. Upstairs you’ll find one more additional guest room and separate full bath. After the beach or a kayak trip, head to the outdoor shower by the back porch, and enjoy a healthy al fresco dinner with the gas grill on the large deck overlooking a peaceful wooded yard. Driveway equipped with a NEMA 14-50 outlet for electric cars. Owners donate 5% of your rental fees to the Wellfleet Conservation Trust to protect Wellfleet's nature. 3 night minimums available with an added cleaning fee. Although the property is well located and attractive, I would not recommend staying here in hot weather. The window a/c units are inadequate to cool the house and the one in the master bedroom is so loud it was impossible to sleep. Also, the house has no dishwasher which is a real negative. Who wants to spend their vacation time hand washing dishes?

Upon arrival the house was clean and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed having an outdoor shower and yard to keep out bikes and carriage. Since we enjoy being outdoors better sitting would have been better but what was there was adequate. Indian Neck has a beautiful beach we enjoyed biking there as well as biking to town.

This is a fairly new house yet there was NO DISH WASHER ! THis is 2021 NOT 1951 !To have dishes , glasses ,cutlery washed by hand is UNHYGENIC !Also there was NO DVD player !IN many years of rentals there has always been a DVD player!there. also a hoard of flying ants living in the house also !Nlot a good experience !

Location was great with bay beaches in walking distance. House wasn't sparkling clean, fridge/freezer had horrible fish smell, missing some basic items (paper towels, TP) but overall had a positive experience.

Cleanliness – although superficially clean, the place needs a good deep cleaning. It looks like that hadn’t been done in years. The basement, where the washer and dryer are, is filled with very stale air and also needs a good cleaning. Going into the basement was an unpleasant experience. Also, the appliances were old.
Kitchen – there were a lot of teaspoons but only one tablespoon. There were a lot of glasses but only one wine glass. Who would think more than one wine glass would be needed? The toaster didn’t work and there was no dishwasher. The kitchen was unremarkable with most of the items in it looking like they came from a tag sale.
Driveway – It drops down and turns, which you cannot see in the photograph, and the best way to use it is to back in because turning around in it is almost impossible as is backing out of it.
TV – I rented this place because it had a TV, however, it was set on Roku which didn’t work and I could not get it to go over to regular TV. So, I called the realtor and asked for the owner’s Roku information which they could not get. On another call the realtor told me to establish my own Roku account which I didn’t want to do. After about an hour and a half I finally figured out how to get off Roku and onto regular TV but the programs were as basic as you can get. There were no instructions as to how to manage Roku or the TV which was frustrating.
Yard – the landlord is an absentee landlord and as such the property is not maintained. There is a small patch of tall grass off the back of the house where you can sit but most of the yard is practically woods up to the house.
Master bedroom - It was large and the bed was comfortable.
Bathrooms – basic and clean. The showers worked well.
Location – the house is not far from the center of Wellfleet. The neighborhood is quiet and the street is nice for taking walks.
Conclusion. The place was utilitarian. We did enjoy our stay in Wellfleet but that had more to do with being on the Cape. I don’t feel that this rental was a good value. I’ve rented other homes and cottages on the Cape for years and have gotten much more for less. My biggest disappointment was that the landlord never called to help with the TV. This is the first time I’ve ever had a problem and not heard from the landlord.

We have rented many houses in Wellfleet and have never been as satisfied as we were with this house. It is spacious, airy, well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The back deck was a perfect location for all of us to eat our meals, and as we were coming from different locations, it was large enough to give us a good amount of space per person. The bedrooms contained window air conditioners which made for nice sleeping, as it was extremely hot the week we stayed. We are excited to rent this property again next year!!! Thanks for helping us create great memories

Perfect Getaway Location
We have rented many houses in Wellfleet and have never been as satisfied as we were with this house. It is spacious, airy, well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The back deck was a perfect location for all of us to eat our meals, and as we were coming from different locations, it was large enough to give us a good amount of space per person. The bedrooms contained window air conditioners which made for nice sleeping, as it was extremely hot the week we stayed. We are excited to rent this property again next year!!! Thanks for helping us create great memories
