Nestled in Wellfleet, this lovely house for $360 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Find serenity and isolation at this Wellfleet retreat. Located on a dead-end street, on an acre of manicured land, this is the perfect Cape Cod sanctuary. This beautifully appointed house features an open design, breathtaking two-story living room with fireplace, master suite with jacuzzi, two bedrooms upstairs along with a roomy loft space, bonus room on the first floor rear and two outside decks. A newly renovated cook's kitchen rounds out this home, while skylights galore give the home a bright sunny setting whether relaxing on the deck or reading on the couch. This home will satisfy your need to "get away" but is less than a mile walk to town with its wonderful shops and unique galleries, a little over a mile to the bay beaches and three miles to the ocean. Cleaning has been upgraded and home will be disinfected entirely between stays. The beach is calling. Come get away!

Ditto for all the positive comments in previous reviews! I’ll just add that the house is decorated and equipped with lovely things, not just the sterile basics often provided in vacation rentals. Also, we were happy to find excellent light for reading. It was easy to feel comfortable and at home.

This is our second year renting this lovely home, which is really like a home away from home; it was wonderful to return. The house is very comfortable and welcoming, with all the amenities you need, and the owner is friendly and easy to communicate with. The home is in the the perfect location, close to all nearby beaches on the ocean side and the bay side, and an easy drive to other National seashore beaches and trails for hiking. It is very peaceful and private, with a lovely garden.

This waa our 3rd year with the Lis and we hope to return next year. Private location, but just a half mile or so to the egde of Wellfleet town. Ocean and bay and ponds (for kids) all close by and Provincetown is just a 20 minute drive. Bike trail not far away. House is fantastic. Highly recommend.

This is the second year our family has stayed at this beautiful, well maintained home with loads of space for our family with everything we could want. Close to town and beautiful swimming ponds, the bike trail and the ocean. Craig and Erin are wonderful hosts and are excellent communicators. Thanks for another great year!!

We went for a week with our adult children and their cousins for a total of 6 adults. The homeowners were quick to respond to our questions before arriving and we had no issues during our stay. We enjoyed the home’s open floor plan, the sunroom as an extra board game room and the bug-less outdoor deck. The kitchen is nicely updated and was well stocked for our needs. The yard is a private, quiet setting on a dead end street with plenty of room for our two dogs. Location was key, as the property was within walking distance to town center and even Mayo Beach in the mornings with the dogs. Also, it is an easy ride to oceanside beaches and ponds.

I stayed here for a family wedding with 4 other adults and one two-year-old and there was plenty of room for all of us! The house was a great balance of cape cod charm and updates. The property was clean and instructions were clear and helpful. The location was great as there was plenty of privacy but also within walking distance of downtown Welfleet shops and restaurants.
We had a snafu at the end of our stay and it was very easy to get in touch with the owners, who were flexible in working with us. Overall, communication was great before and during our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great for wedding week
My husband, mom, 1 year old and myself stayed in Wellfleet for the week ahead of a friend's wedding, and it was a great space for our various multi-functional needs - entertaining a toddler, working from home, cooking most of our meals, relaxing between activities, etc. We particularly enjoyed the deck in the morning and late afternoon when it wasn't too hot. The house doesn't have central AC, so the main living space could get pretty warm in the middle of the day (mornings/evenings/nights were fine without it in late June) but luckily the master bedroom had an AC unit so our little guy could stay cool during nap time. The location was great for us since it's a very short drive to town, many beaches and the various wedding-related activities. You could definitely walk to town though we didn't chance it since there's no sidewalks and we'd have a stroller. Craig was terrific to communicate with and very quick to respond throughout the process.

Great home for vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lis house in Wellfleet. Convenient location to eateries, shops and beaches, but was also a very private spot with lovely deck in back to relax. Roomy, open space with great kitchen. Our adult children enjoyed playing basketball and sitting out front to read. We’ll very likely come back.

Great Spring getaway
This was a central location for Wellfleet Center, various beaches, restaurants and dog-friendly walking trails. It was out-of-season for the Cape, but we found plenty to do on and off the property. The home was spotless and exactly as advertised. When I had a question mid-visit, the owner responded promptly with helpful info.

Craig is a great host, good communication. The house is fantastic and the location just right for us. The wi-fi/internet performed perfectly, which was essential to our visit. We hope to return next year.

Great house in a great location
We loved our stay over in this house. It was a beautiful home, with personal touches and very clean and comfortable. The location was wonderful to walk into town for coffee in the morning at the flying fish. We really appreciated the AC during a very hot week and the outdoor shower is wonderful. We would definitely recommend this place! The owners Craig and Erin were also wonderful to work with and very accommodating. They were very concerned about safety and I appreciated that very much.

This is a perfect family vacation home. Plenty of space to sleep, eat, relax- tvs in multiple entertaining areas- perfect deck for coffee in am, drinks in pm. Quiet with privacy, yet close to town and beaches. We loved it!

It feels like a real home, elegant, high ceiling, large windows and great day lights, beds are comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen feels like new, and location is close to attractions. If you don’t care about being close to the beach, you will like staying in the house.

Superb Wellfleet Vacation
The home is spacious, comfortable and clean. We were two couples who spent most of our time away, but appreciated the welcoming home in which we planned our days, prepared meals and watched the news together.
The location is convenient to town and the popular PJ's, PB's and Mac's Shack, as well as to the extraordinary National Seashore sites. We enjoyed walking the lane in front of the house and jogging on the nearby lightly traveled roads.
We highly recommend this outstanding facility and hope to return! The owner was very helpful.

Comfortable, Spacious, Lovely location
This home was perfect for our short stay in Wellfleet. It was clean, bright, well-equipped and comfortable. We had plenty of space to spread out as needed. Central air conditioning was key since our stay coincided with a heat wave. The location was ideal for the things we like to do at the Cape, especially visiting the Cape Cod National Seashore. On our next trip, we hope to spend more time exploring Wellfleet. We have stayed at different properties on Cape Cod– this is one that we hope to return to again.
