Other than what I have mentioned in the negative, this apartment is great it is very quirky as it is filled with old furnishings.
Andreas has supplied absolutely anything you could possibly need beach towels, medicine box, tea, coffee and sugar and every utensil under the sun, the fridge, washing machine and dishwasher are modern and work well.
The bed even though it is low was very comfortable and pillows great.
The apartment was also very clean.
The apartment is also close to restaurants and bus stop for on going journeys.
We would recommend staying here.
As per a previous review a hand rail at the top of the stairs would be helpful.
Strong sewerage smell just outside of apartment and could be smelt occasionally in the apartment.( not apartments fault)
We stayed for three nights and on two of the nights a movie night was held in the court yard till approximately 11:30 pm. We were aware that it was a shared court yard from the description but that it was just from the staff at the bookstore. This was not the case so just be aware that it is not a semi private area.
Fan in bedroom needs an upgrade very noisy.

The location was fabulous, close to bars, restaurants, the harbour and a bus ticket booth close to Cosy Yard which you could get bus tickets to all the island.

The property is traditional but very comfortable. The courtyard is perfect for relaxing and covered to give plenty of shade

It really is as pretty as the pictures look, the courtyard is lovely and fantastic place to sit. Even though it is nominally shared with the bookshop, we seemed to have it all ourselves. The apartment is spacious and quirky in a very good way. Well equipped kitchen, with coffee machine and all the basics. The bedroom has windows on all sides so lots of through draft.
Only that the hot water was scalding, which took a little getting used to
