About this apartment rental
Seamist is a private, 12-unit-only condo building with spectacular, oceanfront views both from inside the unit and from the balcony (unit #6) of the pristine white sands and crystal clear waters of the Emerald Coast. It is nestled immediately between Seaside Beach & Watercolor Resort and Alys & Rosemary Beach.
This condo is a beautiful one-bedroom (with a king-sized bed)/one bath with an additional set of twin stacking bunk beds that sleeps a total of 4 people. Unit 6 is crisp, clean, and extremely welcoming. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishware and appliances you will need. There is easy seating for meals between the dining table and the outdoor patio. Also included: wifi, full-sized/stacked w/d, 2 grilling areas on a small, nice green lawn to enjoy while the sun begins to set.

You will enjoy having the entire condo to yourself. I have a wonderful property manager who lives in the area and is available if you have any problems. My husband and I are available by phone, text, or email to answer any questions you might have.
Seamist on Scenic Highway 30A offers easy access to scenic hike and bike trails along the coast; deep-sea diving and other ocean activities at marinas in both Panama City Beach and Destin; shopping and browsing of art galleries and boutiques at Seaside, Watercolor and the surrounding beach communities; golfing at award-winning courses such as Camp Creek, Shark's Tooth, Origins and Santa Rosa Beach Golf & Beach Club; extraordinary dining from barefoot beachfront to world-class cuisine; and unique local entertainment impossible to resist such as farmer's markets, free outdoor repertory theater each evening and many live bands and musicians. In the end, though, the memories of moving on 'beach time' and of the peace and relaxation that comes from the sound and beauty of the crashing waves on the white sands and from breathtaking sunsets will be what you will likely enjoy the most.
The 30A sidewalk runs in front of the condo which many people use to bike to Alys Beach (1.5 miles east), Rosemary Beach (2 miles east), The Hub (an outdoor entertaining and casual dining area 1 mile west), and of course Seaside (6 miles west). Renting bikes is easy. There are lots of reasonably priced vendors in the area and they deliver and pick up the bikes to/from the condo - even if you aren't there at the time.
A single parking pass is left in the condo for you and is required to remain on your windshield during your stay. While each guest receives a parking pass, we sometimes have non-guests use our parking lot. Cars that don't have the parking pass clearly visible may get towed at the owner's expense. Sorry for the inconvenience, but not having a parking space is more inconvenient ;) There are fences that restrict beach access to guests only. All guests will receive detailed driving directions prior to arrival.

This beachfront condo was great. The host was very informative and communicated well with instructions on how to gain access to the condo and also gave several suggestions on what to do in the area. It was clean and the decor was very bright & cheerful. The porch was wonderful, especially the double chaise lounge with unobstructed views of the beach. We enjoyed sitting out there with the breeze. The beach ramp has several steps that might be a concern for people with walking issues (not us). The sand was soft & white and if you scuff your feet makes a squeaking sound. The beach wasn't crowded like some neighboring beaches. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and appliances if you wanted to eat in. The bathroom was a nice size with lots of towel bars and storage areas for your personal items. On site parking was nice. It was centrally located. A short drive to Alys, Rosemary, Seaside and Santa Rosa Beach. For us, the only issue we had was the denium couch. The cushions & pillows lacked stuffing making it difficult for "older people" to get up from. It felt like dirty worn stretched out jeans that needed a hot washing to regain it's shape. Other than that, we had a great stay on 30A.

Great stay for our family of four! The balcony view was stunning, the condo was clean and comfortable, and parking was easy. We especially loved the private beach—it was much less crowded than many of the other beaches along 30A which we really liked. Also, the lounger on the patio was perfection and now I want one :-) We would definitely return!

Great location and clean. WiFi was spotty the first couple days but was consistent remainder of time. Neighbors above us and to our west in unit 7 smoked on their patios. Although indirectly related to our unit it directly impacted us while occupying the patio as we are non-smokers. Luckily the groups that smoked were only overlapped our stay for two nights.
