I wish I could rate this hotel even higher than a 10! I have never once stayed somewhere and felt as though there is nothing that I would change about the experience, yet this was the first time I felt that way. This was the most extraordinary and luxurious day of my entire life! The staff were exceptionally kind and going above and beyond their role expectations. They were so accommodating and understanding, and incredibly celebratory of our engagement, which they helped coordinate on our private boat tour. The massages from Dimitris were phenomenal and the food across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails were amazing! We had a suite with a private pool that was well maintained and had a stunning view of the eastern coast, where we could watch the sun rise over a beautiful garden. The beach bar staff were incredibly attentive and maintained a wonderfully clean beach and dock for our enjoyment. I cannot express enough appreciation and admiration of the team working at Aliv. They are exceptional humans who deserve the upmost praise! I will absolutely be back for another stay in the future and eagerly await that opportunity again!

We spent a fantastic 8 days at Aliv, the location and sea are brilliant. The whole resort is set up to relax and create an easy break. All the staff were great and helped make the trip so positive. Special mention to Pete who was fantastic company on the drives to restaurants. The hotel is owned by a really nice family (and 2 very friendly dogs) who help you to feel really welcome and we highly recommend a boat trip with Panos, the coast is amazing. There are also lots of great restaurants very close. The rooms were very clean and spacious. There are the occasional mosquitos in the area so good to pack spray, but not too many. We will definitely return.

the location of the hotel is good on a private beach and a beautiful scenery from the breakfast room
the rooms are new and the private porch is really nice- with a great view as well
the staff was not welcoming. the first thing we were told when we came is that breakfast is served till 10 AM and if we're late- we will be charged. we were never late, but always felt as if they're kicking us out- taking our dishes before we finished what's on them - long before 10 o'clock
we stayed there for 4 nights, and it was the same experience every morning
in addition the road to the hotel is unpaved, very steepy and with no lightning or safety fence.
about 1 mile of complete horror every time we went in and out of the hotel with our car - especially at night
the wifi is very slow- and until we got the staff network- did not work at all
