The room was bigger than how it looked in the pictures, the beds were super comfortable and I loved their pillows (I am particular about pillows due to neck pain and these were awesome!). Nothing beats staying above the pizzeria that was delicious! So close to the town and plenty of cafés and breakfast around the pizzeria. Very calm and safe neighborhood around there, too.
Make sure to spend time with Antony that works in the pizzeria! He really rounded the whole experience out with his tips and wit.

The apartment is a 30-45 minute walk from the Verona train/bus station but takes you through the historical areas of Verona and into a beautiful, more modern neighbourhood. The walk to the older areas is only 15 minutes and there are many cafes and restaurants along the way. The room itself is above a restaurant also run by the owners, who were great to coordinate with using Google Translate to help with language barriers, and also offered a complementary drink on arrival. A small fridge was provided, and there's a laundromat and fruit sellers on the same street. The room itself faced onto a small quiet courtyard which stopped the noise from the main street.

The place was adequate, as a room to sleep in after a day on the town. It is not somewhere to hang out and enjoy the premises.
There were no check-in instructions online or in the emails. We ended up standing outside for a long time trying to contact the property, until eventually the pizzeria opened up and called someone, who arrived after another several minutes. This happened despite our having specified our arrival hour. The problem could have been entirely avoided with detailed arrival information as part of the confirmation email.
