This modern romantic Cottage is small but mighty and located just a few blocks from the beautiful beach- bring your water toys! While small in stature, everything you need is here and done so with exquisite taste from finishes to furnishings to decor. With the original 50’s era shiplap and craftsman doors, you're sure to experience that unique 'fun in the sun' vacation experience you've been desiring! *This is a unique home with creative design maximizing the beautiful original finishes and materials while ensuring weary travelers have the comforts of today everyone expects. We have worked hard to ensure you find our home clean and comfortable, having restored this home past it’s original beauty and then some. Step inside our gorgeous walk-in shower, relax on our deck, and sleep in as late as you want as you reconnect with your family and yourself. Living room sleeps 3- two on a brand new queen sleeper sofa and one one the couch. Bedroom sleeps two on a very comfortable double bed. Other Features Included: large deck with seating for a large group - take in the views from all around. We provide a gas grill, ceiling fans throughout inside, Internet/WIFI, SmartTVs, a washer and dryer and a full kitchen with all the amenities you need to stay and eat in while maximizing your family time. Eating out-walking to the jetty shack for a great burger and seafood or taking a short drive to one of the many local restaurants in our area is so easy. AREA: No touristy chain restaurants, shops or hotels. Just chillin' beach bar and grills, food (and beverage) trucks (like Surfin Rita Daiquiris To-Go), burger joints (like Pier 30 and Beachfront Deck Bar & Grill) and tasty fresh seafood options (like Seahorse Bar & Grill and Red Snapper) line the water. Surfside is your simple relaxing sandy beach, water sporting, surfing, fishing and crabbing vacation destination. Surfside Beach is located around an 1 hr drive to Houston on Texas Highway 288 depending on traffic. For out-of-town visitors, Houston Hobby Airport is within easy driving distance offering many carriers making air travel reasonable and convenient Just rent a car and enjoy the drive down! DOG-FRIENDLY: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs considered, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee ($75 for 1 dog, extra $50 for 2) per stay. .

Little house was adorable; very close to the jetties…we were able to see some ships, which was fun for the small children. The owners were very accommodating. We always enjoy coming to Surfside. Had a great weekend at the beach.

There was a little mess up when accessing the property that was immediately resolved. Very spacious for 600 square feet as well as updated and clean. Also included all necessities, including plates, paper towels, utensils, hair dryer and toiletries.

Cozy, quiet, and comfortable which was just what we wanted. The cottage was easily accessible from the main Hwy and had easy access to food, sightseeing, and adventure. We can’t give a rating on the nearby beach since it was off season and kinda chilly.

Most excellent cozy house for relaxation and rest. Had everything my wife and I needed to recover between her appointments at MD Anderson. Preparing meals in the well equipped kitchen was so much better than fast food. Lotta coffee! Lol! Walked to the beach, swam, watched birds, ships and fishermen. The ocean was beautiful. Felt safe and slept well. Couldn’t be happier. Owner was gracious and responded immediately. Thank you!

Perfect beach house for a getaway! My husband and I had a great stay for the weekend with our two pups. The house and property was very clean and short walk to the beach! The host was very easy to communicate with, if I had any questions. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and I stayed at this cozy Surfside beach house and really enjoyed it. It was clean, cool and close to the beach and jetty. Rob, the property owner, was responsive and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was great. I would definitely stay here again or try another of Rob’s properties in Surfside.

Our weekend stay was excellent. This home is so cute and comfortable! Just a short walk to the beach, and the fact that its pet friendly made it even better! My family enjoyed our time there. The host makes sure you have everything you could possibly need. Comfy little space to stay at, definitely will be booking again.

This beach cottage was perfect for a girls trip!! This adorable cottage was very clean, fully stocked with needed condiments, any possibly forgotten bathroom toiletries, along with laundry soap. This cottage was perfect size for the three of us. The owner of the property was prompt with communication, allowed us earlier check in along with checking in to make sure the a/c units were keeping us comfortable with the crazy TX heat wed been having. If needing a larger beach Cottage, next door to this property is a beautiful 3 bedroom, also newly remodeled, amazingly kept cottage with the same owners. We can’t wait to get back to Surfside and hope one of these properties are available.

Nice clean property within walking distance to a nice beach and jetty. Another very large nice beach just down the road. Everything you need to stay in and cook or there is some good restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

It was a very comfortable, cozy and clean. It was a perfect place to recharge and rest after a dirty and tiring day at the beach. It was great how the house was stocked with all the home amenities making vacation very stress free. No need to pack a bunch of extra stuff at this place! We enjoyed grilling our 1st night with the grill charcoal and lighter provided. The house is 2 blocks from the beach and I enjoyed walking, my kids needed to be driven to the beach, which was just the k side nice there is tons of parking spots. After this stay I feel inspired to start planning my next vacation!

Wife, 1yo daughter, and I took an early summer vacation. We’ve been coming to Surfside for years, and this spot was superior. Great aesthetic, very clean, and superb location. Surfside Beach is a winning place, and this Vrbo is fantastic.

This property was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. It was cozy, but enough space for us. The location was also perfect for going to the beach or one of the island restaurants. I definitely recommend this property.

The place is clean and well-decorated. All the amenities of a home away from. It's March and I wanted to watch my college team play in the playoffs and was able to do so from a very comfortable couch. Could hear the ocean with the windows open. Perfect weather in a perfect place

This was a perfect spot for a nice, relaxing 4 day weekend for my wife and I. The house was spotless and was just like the photos and description on VRBO. It is the perfect size for a couple to spend time away from home. We had a couple of minor issues but they were addressed immediately by the property manager to our satisfaction. While the house isn't directly on the beach it is only a short walk there. The neighborhood it is located in was quiet the whole time we were there with only minimal traffic. The sound of the surf on the beach was usually louder than any traffic or neighborhood sounds. I'm very happy to have rented the house this weekend.

I loved everything about this home from the location, the décor, the space and especially the host. The host provided a full list of helpful information about the property and area so it didn't leave room for us to have many questions, however he still made himself available via text if and when we needed anything else. Will definitely book again!!

I loved staying at the cottage! It was a great location and I enjoyed the comfortable and cute accommodations. There was a minor issue during my five day stay but Rob was extremely prompt in communicating and tending to things rapidly. I would stay here again and recommend it.

Rob was amazing and made booking and staying in his home super easy and enjoyable. He had coffee and other amenities in the home for us to use. Extra beach towels and beach chairs as well. I will definitely stay again! Communication during our stay for the code to get in to the departure was made to ensure our stay was successful. I would recommend his home to anyone needing relaxation or an escape to the water. Perfect location as his home is close to surf side beach! Thank You Rob for making our Honeymoon stay one to remember!!
