Upon entry into the rear foyer, guests will be greeted with a spectacular view of Cayuga Lake through the windows of the great room. To the left is the first bedroom, featuring a queen bed and a private en suite bathroom with an oversized tile shower. To the right is another bedroom with a queen bed along with its own en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The wide hallway opens up into the great room, featuring a wall of sliding glass doors and chalet style windows to accentuate the stunning view of the lake. Hardwood floors and relaxing colors enhance the feeling of serenity and luxury. A large sectional with Samsung smart TV is available for enjoying a movie or a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. Guests can watch their favorite programs using the TV apps and their accounts (Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max etc.). High speed, fiberoptic internet is available for streaming to personal devices or for those needing to work while on vacation. The dining table seats 8 and is directly next to the spacious, elegant kitchen. Walk out any of the sliding glass doors onto the beautiful deck, where you can oversee the waterfront activities or share a meal in style. A half bath is conveniently located in the rear of the great room. The spectacular loft bedroom offers the best view in the house via large, chalet windows. A king size bed faces the lake to accentuate the lake view. Motorized sun blocking shades offer a welcome respite for late morning sleepers. Keep the shades down until you're rested and ready to start your day of Finger Lakes adventures! A huge en suite bathroom features a Jacuzzi style bathtub and separate oversized shower. The lower level features a game room with pool table and a walk out via sliding glass doors to the hot tub on the covered deck. A fourth bedroom just off the game room offers sleeping for 4, with a bunk bed featuring full size mattresses. A full bathroom with shower is at the end of the hall. Just off the lower level deck is a beautiful stone patio and firepit, ideal for enjoying outdoor meals or a relaxing evening enjoying the company of friends and family. The lakefront features a large deck/dock that reaches out over the water and a large boat hoist for your boat. Located near several nice wineries and a short drive to Ithaca, The Lily Pad is convenient to many area attractions, while still providing guests with wooded privacy and elegant accommodations. ** Van Doren Beach is on a dead end road with no turn around. Please ensure any and all boat trailers are parked off site as they are not permitted on the road. **If the power goes out, no need to worry! A 24KW Generac generator with an automatic transfer switch will keep everything running so you don't have to miss out on any of your vacation stay Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests. Note: Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. House and location are beautiful! Very clean and we had a great time. Be mindful not to accidentally pull into the neighbors driveway, my husband did and she ran out of the house flipping out. It was a honest mistake. Besides Karen we had an amazing time with beautiful views.

When we arrived at the house we were very happy with the location, the space, and the overall amenities. Honestly a very beautiful home! Unfortunately, the lower level porch had been overtaken by spiders (on the ceiling and furniture). We totally understood that the house is located in a wooded area, and understand some spiders and webs will be visible. However, what we saw was literally not tens, not twenty, but hundreds of spiders crawling above our head as we tried to enjoy the hot tub. What we saw is indicative of nothing short of months of negligence to the home exterior. It was dangerous and unacceptable, and removed our ability to enjoy the actual facilities. There were spiders coming down within inches of our heads. It was crazy. However, when requested they did have someone come and clean the spiders from the deck, which my party and I appreciated. Honestly overall though with the amount of spiders inside and out it makes the place close to unrentable.

Basically, it was all positive. The kitchen - dining - lounge area is one flowing space, which was great for family reunion. Kitchen is very well equipped with dishes, pans, utensils, etc. Beds were comfortable, though BR4 a little small for adults. One caution: the 50-odd steps to the water is a bit much for some older guests. Also, the palatial master BR is loft over the living space, so once the couple or person occupying that room goes to bed, everyone needs to go to bed due to sound carrying. Aside from that, it was perfect for us.

Beautiful lakefront property, nicely decorated, sparkling clean, and with many amenities. We came to spend some family time together when travel and tourism don't feel safe, and this was a lovely spot to gather and enjoy the view from the decks and the dock. The kitchen is amazingly well-equipped and spacious, so we did a lot of cooking and baking. Almost a shame, because in normal times this area has a number of restaurants we would try.

Our family of (4) enjoyed a relaxing week at The Lily Pad. The home is located on the sunrise side of the lake, and with the master bedroom loft windows you won't have to move an inch to see it. (This is not a master for late-sleepers!) Home is well appointed, clean and teenager-friendly. A storage shed on the dock houses extra chairs, floats and two fishing poles (not noted on the listing). The stairs to the dock are steep, but manageable and well lit in the evening. The owners obviously care about the guest experience, and have done their best to create a high-end destination on the lake.
