Nice complex overall. My room was clean and comfortable; it had a balcony with a nice view. The environment is very peaceful. The complex also had a central patio and dining hall. It is a good place for groups. Breakfast was generous.
The location is isolated, not in a city. However, the place provided free transportation to a very economical restaurant offering a good pilgrims' menu.

Beautiful view, very close to Caminho, comfortable bed.
Of all the nights we've spent in Portugal, last night was the only one when mosquitoes were an issue—and they were a major problem. We recognize that this was partly our fault because we left the windows open. However, we've slept with the windows open at every other stop along the Camino without encountering mosquitoes.
What made the situation worse was that, once we realized the problem, we closed the windows and tried to turn on the air conditioning. Unfortunately, there was no remote or visible control, and despite checking throughout the room and trying every switch we could find, we couldn't get it to work. We acknowledge that we could have gone to reception for help, but by then it was late, we were half asleep, and we weren't dressed to leave the room.
With the windows closed and no air conditioning, the room became incredibly hot, and we barely slept, which made today‘s walk really hard.
