clean and excellent facilities eg washing machine and dryer, dish washer and modern decor
bed mattresses were a bit springy although mattress toppers did help

The apartment was big with everything you need. Shame the facilities close on a Monday and Tuesday.
Local Asda, Morrisons and B & M for anything you need.
We caught the train to Cardiff for the day short journey reasonably priced in walking distance or free to park.
You need to pay for parking otherwise it can be difficult to park. Reviews said you could walk to Barry but it was quite a walk.
They are building behind so week days at 8 am the noise begins.
One bed was great the other im pleased I read the reviews and took a mattress topper as you could feel the springs.

The apartment was spacious it had everything you need for a short stay it was clean, bright and in a good location for visiting Barry or Penarth.
The communal area i.e. stairs need a good clean skirting and doors, its like they have been abandoned.

The closeness to Barry Island and the food courts at Goodsheds
The general comfort level, it felt as if everything was just put together cheaply from IKEA. Not comfortable for 3 people as only one very small sofa and 2 velour dining chairs to relax in. There was a seperate table and 4 chairs but made cheaply. It wasn't 100% clean when you looked closely and one of the double beds( twin pushed together) was really hard with no bounce in mattress. Building work beginning at 8 am every morning right outside the building. Very warm property with no fans.
