Perfect location tucked away from the main thoroughfare which is nice a quiet, but easy to get to.
2 min walk from the train station and the best part was no huge stair climbs which is uncommon in Vernazza! The apartment had lots of space and everything we needed to stay for several nights.
The 2nd bed is a sofa so we didn't use it. We bunked in together on the main bed. Luckily it is big and comfortable so it was no issue. If you need a 2nd bed this is probably not the best option for you. Also note that the main bed is sunken so if you have mobility issues this could be a problem too.
There were 2 windows opposite the main bed and the curtain only covered one of them! So we propped up the cushions from the sofa bed to cover the other window which did the trick. Needs to have better curtains though.
Payment was a bit frustrating. The owner wanted cash (which was not indicated until we arrived so we didn't have enough). They said they would meet us the next day and we hung around and they didn't contact us. We didn't end up paying until the day before we checked out. It was a bit frustrating.

Lovely flat with all the basic facilities
Very dark, which meant it was cold even when it was 25 outside. The flat is in the basement right next to a stream and means it is damp and musty. In the middle of summer maybe a bonus, but we did end up having to put the AC on even when it was hot. And the towels stayed damp unless hung in front of the AC
