Great location to visit the surrounding area and it was peaceful and in a beautiful setting. The property was immaculate and beautifully furnished with great attention to detail. Lovely touch was some Somerset cheese and cider left for us in the fridge.

Our second time at Yew Tree Cottage. Honestly, we love it. It’s always thoroughly clean and welcoming. We spent 5 nights there this time (as opposed to 3 nights last time). If you’re looking for somewhere private, quiet, cosy and comfy, this is the place for you. We loved having the lamps on in the evening, getting comfy and relaxing in the living room. As an animal lover and someone who works with cats, the farm cat Margot is a delight. The sweetest cat. For us personally, she is a MASSIVE perk of Yew Tree Cottage and definitely not a “pest” as someone said in their review. It’s all perspective of course but it’s certainly not a word I’d use.
Thank you to the Sage family for being so friendly and welcoming as always. We will be back again. Jen and Jamie
