Der Vermieter war ein toller Gastgeber. Er hat uns schon vor unserer Anreise kontaktiert und uns geholfen, ein Mietauto für unseren Aufenthalt zu organisieren, sowie ein Taxi, dass uns von der Fähre abgeholt hat. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, mit frischen Obst, Wein und einem leckeren Kuchen und Brot. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, man ist sofort über einige Stufen am Strand. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer und den Strand sowie auf die Insel Telendos. Nur einige Minuten zu Fuß befindet sich ein Supermarkt sowie sehr viele gute Tavernen. Der Strand in Myrties ist eher ruhiger und nicht viel los (Kiesstrand). Man erreicht auch sehr schnell den nächst gelegenen Strand, an dem etwas mehr los ist mit Beachbar etc. Der Vermieter war über unseren gesamten Aufenthalt immer erreichbar, es wurden auch Handtücher und Bettwäsche einmal gewechselt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein Liegestuhl auf der Terrasse zb. wäre noch fein gewesen.

Geräumige Wohnung mit tollem Blick. Von der Terrasse kan man herrliche Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Wir wurden mit Wein, Obst, traditionellem Ouzobrot und vielem mehr begrüßt. Kleanthis hat sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert und in allen Belangen geholfen (z.B. bei der Anmietung eines günstigen Autos). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Kleanthis is a great host that does everything to please his customers. The apartment is well furnished and has all the comforts! The views are unbeatable as well as the vicinity to the beach.

From the minute we arrived (actually before, as the host, Kleanthis, arranged a taxi to meet us at Pothia) our experience was amazing. Kleanthis greeted us on arrival and kindly left us Kalymnos bread and cake, plus fruit and wine. There were a few basics in the fridge, bottles of water and well stocked cupboards (olive oil, herbs, tea, coffee etc). The house overlooks the beach with far reaching views across the bay. Beautiful sunsets. Private steps lead down to the beach. A good sized kitchen and large sea facing balcony accessible from the kitchen and main bedroom. Large shower with lovely hot water. Shower gel, shampoo and soap all provided. Comfortable lounge seating and English TV. Easy walk to the Telendos ferry and to the main restaurants and shops area. When we left, Kleanthis came to bid us farewell. We felt more like family leaving and not just tourists! We left Pothia with a gift of Kalymnos bread from Kleanthis. Overall a gem on the Aegean - it is comfortable, clean and convenient. Excellent communications from Kleanthis before and during our stay. We will be back.
