Beautiful, inside and out. We searched far and wide before finding this magical place - Ulaman Eco Luxury Resort. It is one of those times when the photos, as good as they are, don’t do it justice. It is even better in reality – just gorgeous. While we were blown away by the sheer beauty of the place – the setting, the stunning architecture, beautiful rooms, wonderful infinity pools and the lush tropical gardens, what made it truly special was the people. Yes, the service was attentive and first rate, however more than this, it was the genuine kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity of spirit of all the staff that made our trip so memorable. So much so, that while intending to only spend 3 nights there, we extended our stay for another 5 nights. We enjoyed many beautiful offerings, including massage, yoga and sound healing and had the privilege of participating in a special fire cleansing ceremony that honours and celebrates the arrival of the full moon. And, after leaving for a couple of days to go to another part of Bali, on returning it truly felt like coming home. Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff under the careful eye of General Manager, Kadek and owner Dino whose vision for a place of deep wellbeing is being realised every day. Our special thanks too, to the beautiful Eka, restaurant manager and dearest soul who we are grateful to now call our friend. We were very sad to say goodbye to a wonderful group of people who had become like family in such a short time. So, if you want a truly unique experience and enjoy some of the best that Bali can offer, Ulaman is the perfect place.

There were too many insects in the room, because the location of the hotel was right next to a rice field. We had all kinds of insects in our room and bathroom especially because it was all open.

Its far a way. Have no hotel cars. Doesn’t has food verity. Doesn’t has staff that talk good English

The Ulaman Eco lodge was beautiful, we stayed here for three nights, 2 nights in the pool villa and 1 night in the sky villa. Our whole stay was wonderful, the food was amazing, the staff were amazing, the spa was stunning and we took full advantage of the cold and hot pool and the sauna and steam and booked a full body massage which was fantastic. We loved our stay here and would come back. We also took full advantage of the yoga every morning with Con which was fantastic and we even booked a sound healing session which ended up just being the two of us and it was a very healing and powerful experience. The jungle pool was stunning.. everything was just beautiful :)

I feel for the price you pay the food options should be greater, it’s hard to get to restaurants as it is secluded, so the menus should offer more.

Loved the grounds, pools and room. Facilities and service were amazing, truly a unique place. Would love to come back again soon!

Mosquito. No one's fault really.

The hotel is in the middle of the forrest making it very peaceful and giving you a nature experience. Do not miss out on the massage, we had a balinese massage and it was top the staff were extra friendly and the food was clean and delicious. highly recommended for couples

Many insects but thats what you expect in the forrest, we were not too bothered by it.

The villas looked gorgeous and very peaceful. loved the artificial waterfalls

There was a lot of ants running around and some sort of animal kept making noises all night so had a hard time sleeping

Noise from the road, our villa was located super close to the road and it was quite noisy. I think all other villas located on the river are less noisy...

Fantastic staff and amazing architecture

Absolutely nothing! the maintenance and upkeep of the resort was shocking. This is definitely not anywhere close to a 5 star resort!

Everything! The resort is heavily infested with mosquitoes and you can hardly call it the jungle! to the massive geckos and flying creatures it was awful! The showers and rooms are dirty and we changed villas twice because the sky Villa has poor finishings. Door wouldn’t shut tight so the AC doesn’t really work because the air escapes. also the bathroom is technically outside so it was extremely unbearable hot!

The vibe was great, the architexture was amazing, surrounded by nature, so many instagtamable spots, the staff was very nice and helpful. The owner, Mr.Dino is also very friendly, we did morning yoga togehter in ulaman Yoga Shala. We wish next time will be stay longer for sure

Good environment

Incredible architectures in the resort make it a almost magical place to stay. Booked lake villa for 2 nights and ended up staying both lake villa and sky villa. Both are stunning and beautiful rooms that are exactly the same as the pictures show on the website and good for all kinds of photos. We see how carefully they designed and built this place that one can fully immerse in the vibe created. It’s not only physically satisfaction but also spiritual fulfillment. Staff are extremely helpful, hospitable, and efficient in taking care of our needs and requests. We also experienced many cuisines in the resort and also the SPA, we’re so contented to stay here and will recommend Ulaman for sure.
