A modern flat, yet with all the charm of an old Sassi house.

An apartment with all modern amenities, yet it retains the character and charm of an old Sassi house. We always had constant support from Rosalba (the hostess) It is very well located in the upper part of the Sassi, a 5-minute walk from the car park, which for me was a decisive factor in choosing it, as I was visiting Matera with my 80-year-old parents.

Note that you have to climb a flight of stairs to reach the house.

WOW!!

WOW! It was an amazing stay in the heart of the Sasso Caveoso. It is fairly quiet during the morning and generally away from the hustle until the tour groups come through. We were very comfortable in the apartment and an amazing experience to be so central. The check in and out process was easy and great communication with the host. We had everything we needed for a great stay!

The upstairs was a bit creaky and there isn’t too much privacy but if they doesn’t bother you…it is a fantastic space and place. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay

Great location, spacious, has all the consumables and you feel at home. The owner has prepared a coffee machine, biscuits, milk and essentials. I recommend.
