Casa Quixote is a wonderful group vacation villa. It is so spacious, and spread out for privacy. The upper deck area with the outdoor kitchen, multiple seating areas and pool make a perfect gathering spot. The view and natural ocean breeze was perfect! The location is ideal, a simple walk into town and to Playa Madera. 80 pesos to get over to La Ropa for a different beach experience.We had a few small issues, which is why I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars. Some of the showers didn't ever really have hot water, and the primary had scalding hot water! The beds only have a sheet, I would really like a light weight blanket. We requested some, but I think it was lost in translation. Our bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and the air-conditioning works really well. The air conditioning is difficult to control the temperature, it seems to be off or cold. We opted for cold, but then really kind of needed the blankets!There is a little wear and tear as well, and this villa is a premium price. They provided purified water in every suite as well, which was really nice. The villa is cleaned every other day, the cleaner was really thorough and very nice. There is shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the showers.Overall, we loved it and would absolutely recommend staying here. I would stay here again if its s available!

The location was perfect. Close to the beach and many restaurants. The house was great for four couples with each having their own private area. The main level had lots of different seating arrangements around the pool. Would recommend to families for a relaxing stay.

Everything was simply perfect!

The house and property were fine and in a perfect location. The cleaners and maintenance man were friendly and worked hard. But, we chose this house for its beautiful pool and had planned on spending most of our time swimming. Unfortunately, the pump did not work our entire stay until the morning we were leaving. I communicated a few times with the property manager about it but never got an answer about it. Only 2 people out of our group of 7 were willing to get in the non-moving water and one of them ended up with a rash. It was very disappointing! It was also weird/unusual that the cleaners came at 9am on our check out day when check out wasn’t until 11am. We felt rushed. We were told it was because they had someone checking in at 3pm, but doesn’t everyone? We’ve not experienced that before.
