There were no staff on site, access to rooms is via a key collection box operated by code. Contacted staff by phone and sorted out an issue with key collection without any problems. No breakfast but in centre of town so alternative venues are available Public car park close by.

No breakfast No communal areas so if you are in a group could be a limitation.

Cheap (only needed a room with a bed and shower for one night as going to Burghley horse trials next day so m: literally went to the room for a shower then out for the evening, back to the room to sleep and shower in the morning): so at that price it met our needs perfectly, although wouldn’t stay here if I were on an extended stay or if I needed to use the room for anything other than showering or sleeping - you wouldn’t chose to spend an evening in the room chilling out. Room was very clean and easy to access: no staff needed as key card in safe box outside with access code provided. Location was fine: a 30 second walk from a car park and close to the town centre so perfectly walkable for pubs and restaurants.

Unfortunately they don’t allow dogs so had to leave ours with friends for the weekend.

I hated the single bathroom tap as you could not get cold water properly to drink or use to make drinks
