Lovely family run ski lodge, with a real personal touch, we loved our time, and would stay here agai

Great breakfast options for all the family.

Hot water in the showers was a little bit random, and sometimes cool... which is not great after a day on the slopes when you're freezing cold!

Worst stay in my life so far!

The beds were clean and the location is not bad for family to walk around and ski. Other then that, the whole experience of this stay was not good.

1.The property's size and condition did not meet our expectation: As you can see from the photos. *No further comments* 2.The owner/operator of the business has neither shown empathy to family travellers nor the most basic customer service attitude (personal view): a.There was communication confusion about how many people can live in the room (which I was also parially responsible by not checking the message on time) . To sum it up: the maximum allowed for the room is 5 guests, we have 6 in total including my two kids (5 year&7year). b.The owner was not willing for us to pay extra for one additional guest in the room (4 beds), also refused to help us find another room to accomodate our stay. I did not find another accomodation either on the day, therefore I decided to live in my car by myself. c. Around 8pm 2 August, I wanted to go to the room for picking up my laptop in the room, the owner refused my access to the room and made it clear that I can not access the room, if I wanted to pick up something, I have to ask my wife to do it for me, otherwise police will be called. d. As the person made the booking, I do believe myself having the right to enter the property to pick up my own belonings and therefore I entered the room, the owner called the police. e. After picking up my laptop, I came back to the lobby straight away and asked the owner if you want me to wait for the police in the lobby or outside (my daugher followed me and not wanted me to leave, while crying), the owner asked me to go outside and wait. I asked my wife to take my daughter back to the room then waited outside. f. I waited outside for the police to come (temperature was around 4 degree) and later my wife came out told me that the police won't come, but the owner said everytime I enter the property, he will call the police. g. I went back to my car and stayed whole night there, and second morning before 8am we checked out. *Just list of facts, no further comments*

Very friendly staff, tasty breakfast and dinner. Loved the open fire in the bar area. Looking forward to going back!

We had a lovely stay. The view out the window was beautiful.

The cooked breakfast was amazing. The staff were helpful, friendly. The shuttle/transfer to the accommodation was brilliant. The room had everything we needed and close to everything.

We had a great time at Cooroona. Everyone made us feel very welcome, especially Lachie and Amy and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Breakfast being included was a real bonus and having the option for a cooked one even better. Fireplace was lovely and we finally found a place that didn't overcharge at their bar! Will definitely return.

Great Lodge with friendly staff.

Cooroona lodge have their own Accommodation Transfer Service (ATS) which is really helpful as it saves you having to pay to use the village ATS. If you're checking out and still wanted to get in one more day on the slopes, not to worry since they allow you to store you're luggage to come collect later which we very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning again.

Exceeded expectations

The staff were like old friends. They even made a bday cake for my sons 11th bday The owners intermingled comfortably with guests and were always available. All the staff made you feel like they really liked you, their job and seeing everyone have a fun time at the snow. Loved the lodge communal feel especially at all Meals. The snow overpass pick up and drip off was an unexpected bonus and minimised waiting around time. Also we were encouraged to use the lodge even after checking out, toilets, wash room, tea and coffee facilities, so we could ski the last day. A very inclusive welcoming lodge with GREAT melas at a reasonable price.

Fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Falls Creek.

Good location, breakfast provided and excellent restaurant facilities, owner was extremely helpful and offered storage for luggage after check-out.

Location - Perfect, ski-in/out Breakfast - Very Good Dinner - Delicious, generous portion, reasonable price, MUST TRY Room/ lodge - Very clean Free transportation from ATS to the lodge Friendly staff Excellent wifi
