Large yard, spacious kitchen with everything you need and multiple tables, large rooms. Nice barbeque (haven't got a chance to use it), a place for kids to play in the yard with swings etc.. Air conditioning working in the rooms, large spacious balcony, parking inside the property for multiple cars, nice yard and ammenities.
Overall a very good place, it's clear the owners invested A LOT there, it's a shame they lack some procedures in place. My dislikes:
- Both toilets in both rooms had rear evacuation detached and water was dripping under it. Also one of the toilets kept water going and made noise continuously.
- One toilet had two dry urine droplets under the seat (see pic) - it means cleaning was not done properly. The place looked clean, but these two things are unacceptable. You can get diseases from previous guests.
- Shower curtain instead of a glass separator (in pics on booking it shows cabins, we've got curtains). It's 2026 not 1980, small investment to make it hygienic in this room too.
- Inside the hallway there was a smell of perfume combined with public toilets. I guess they used the same mop to clean both the hallways and rooms with the one used in the bathrooms, and if there's a leak, there's smell that perfume can't mask.
- Old red worn covers on beds as well as used decorative pillows... Better ditch them, they're awful, don't make the space nicer. I don't understand why RO properties have this obsession with those plastic cheap bed covers...
- Red everywhere... Some might enjoy it, others can find it cheap and disturbing... better user neutral colors when repainting next time. "Less is more". I saw some other rooms on your set of pics with better taste, so it's possible.
- At night all yard is pitch black, not like in pics on site... install some solar based lights, crepuscular sensors and movement sensors if you rent this place for tourists... Or use them. I might want to sit on the balcony and admire some of the yard or go to the kitchen without using phone flashlight :)
- Access to the rooms was made on a fire emergency stair, so if you're getting the same room and have height sickness... not very pleasant.
- TV was unusable. Very small, channels had delays loading, or crashing.
