About this house rental
Nestled in Wildernest, this attractive house for $119 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 6 with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 twin bunk bed. It features a kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a private laundry. Hiking trails are walking distance through the parking lot. Quiet location, but close to all Silverthorne has to offer. Villamont townhomes are across the street from a Summit Stage bus stop, so you are close to all the activities Summit County has to offer. The entryway has mounted hooks for your convenience as you come and go throughout your day. The living area has an ample sectional sofa, and a mounted flat screen TV. From the living area, proceed to the dining area where there is a table that comfortable seats 4 with a breakfast bar that seats 2 more. A full bathroom is just off the dining area. The bathroom features granite countertops and a walk-in shower. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The breakfast bar comfortably seats two people. The door to the deck is just off the kitchen. There are beautiful views from the deck and hiking trails within walking distance from the wooded back yard. Upstairs are the two bedrooms and the second bathroom. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. The first bedroom features a king-sized bed and a mounted flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. The upstairs bathroom features a double sink vanity with granite countertops and a shower/tub combination. The sink area is separated by a door from the shower area for added privacy and convenience. The stackable washer/dryer combination is also upstairs in the hallway closet. **Ivory White Bedding** This property has been upgraded with ivory white bedding modeled after high-end hotels and resorts. I got a lot of e-mails from the property management for this unit, and some of them said "We're looking forward to your visit!" but that is clearly not true. They hate their guests. Had to sign a 4-page lease agreement full of all kinds of restrictions for a 1 night stay in the off season, plus jump through hoops just to be able to park there. Did not appreciate the hidden fees. Not worth it.

We reserved the 23-26th in January, received a confirmation after we paid. When we were 7 hours into our drive we discovered we did not have the unit for the night of the 23rd and the updated reservation they sent us said the 24th-27th. The property manager does not listen when we tell them this, they just felt appropriate to give us a discount on another room for the night of the 23rd, which we already paid for. We have provided them all the documentation on this but they insist they have done all they will do. We just want reimbursed for the extra night. In my opinion, this is theft. My recommendation is to not use this owner.

We were in Colorado for our annual ski trip. We usually ski at Winter Park, but this year, we decided to stay in Silverthorn and ski five different areas. The location of this condo couldn’t have been more perfect! Although small, it was very cozy and fully stocked with more than we’ve seen in most rentals. Perfect week!

My family and I had a wonderful time while staying at this property. The accomodations were as advertised, and I would recommend it in the future to others. I knocked off a couple of stars for the check in process because it is VERY difficult to unlock the front door. The key isn't cut well, or there's something going on with the locking mechanism. Either way, that's an issue which needs some attention. Otherwise, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with supplies, and the scenery is amazing! It is really a nice place.
This is a two story condo. The bedrooms are upstairs. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a tv in the main bedroom and another tv downstairs. The main bedroom has a king size bed and closet. The other bedroom has a full or queen bed plus twin bunk beds. The downstairs has a large L shaped couch which was very comfortable.
We hiked almost every day we were there, and there are so many trails very close by. Word of warning - get to the trailhead very early as parking is sparse! Some trailheads had as few as 10 parking spaces (some less). We used the "AllTrails" app to help us decide which trails would be appropriate for our skill level and experience.
In terms of other activities and shopping, there's some fast food places and nicer restraunts nearby. We found Target and Walmart within a few miles distance as well. Of course, there's also the Outlets which are just down the road from the property.
I didn't knock off any stars for it, because I was pleased with our stay. However, the back porch could benefit from a couple of patio chairs and maybe a small grill. Really, that's just a comment and not a complaint. We used the patio multiple times a day and it would have been a bit more comfortable if we had chairs to sit in. I would also recommend supplying a few more fans for the property. My family came from Texas and Florida, so it was unusual to us that there was no central A/C, or any A/C at all. We were still relatively comfortable even during our late August visit, but we definitely made use of the one fan that is provided.
If you're on the fence about booking this property, I would say go for it. It's probably a little less fancy than what you'd find in the 400-1000+/night price range, but this is definitely not a property to turn your nose up at. Very clean and all the comforts of home. I would stay here again.

The 2 lock boxes were broken. We called management and they insisted we needed to keep trying. An hour later a technician showed, we were told 15 to 20 minutes. Lock box was broken. Fireplace can’t be used. Toilet was clogged. Cleaning was poor. Heating was confusing. Parking was difficult, many hours we couldn’t park because they plow 2 days a week. Won’t be back!
