Spacious apartment, clean,tidy. Very close to the Tourist info centre, Old Town,Melk Abbey, the local bus, and the train station. It was quiet at night, comfy bed. The washing machine was handy and the host kindly provided a clothes airer. The host was prompt in responding to any questions. We really enjoyed our time here.
Not a criticism, but be aware there is no elevator. We carried our cases up the stairs together so it was easier.

The garden is amazing. The location is great. The kitchen is well equipped and the sauna is a cute little touch.
Unfortunately the Top 2 has mold and a very bad smell in the living room area. We got an air dehumidifier but it was very annoying to have the machine on so the smell would go away for a short while. I was told it is "normal" because it's an old house near the Danube but I think the mold issue must be taken care of before hosting more people there. It is a health hazard and it is beyond uncomfortable.

There was a strange smell near opposite the sleeping room in the corridor.
