Very helpful and kind hosts, who were going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Location close to the calmest of the 3 beaches in Avola (approx. 250m to the entrance). Since we were here out of season, the local lidos and beach bars were closed, so there was plenty of space. Modern and clean apartment, with a well equipped kitchen (even included tea, coffee, sugar and some basic herbs/spices). The outdoors washing machine is also a big plus. Since there are no taxis or city buses in Avola (only one main intercity bus stop and train station) the owners were kind enough to drive us into the city with luggage. Water pressure in the shower was great, and there is a small outdoors shower to wash off the sand from the beach before going into the apartment. As the location is far from the party district and the city, it was really calm and peaceful.

Everything was fine. It's not a complaint about the apartment just a hint for other visitors. I strongly recommend renting a car as you can't reach most local attractions without it, the intercity bus service is very scarce and the timetables are only available on region-locked apps of 2 different bus companies.

Very good stay, property was nice and clean. Owner was so so kind and helpful. :)

A little far from the center ( if you don't have car or bike)

We were able to speak with the property owner in English, he was very quick to respond, and somehow he knew just what to have in the apartment to make us feel comfortable.
