Great location just outside of York- we’d hired a car so thé fact it wasn’t vet walkable wasn’t an issue.
Nice living spaces- conservatory was lovely & the kitchen well appointed.
1.Wi-Fi was ordinary upstairs & lacking in the conservatory where tho thé perfect place to relax made things a tad awkward. I understand the age & size of thé house etc but this didn’t seem to be other locations we stayed.
2. The kitchen hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived & tho this was attended to it is something the management needs to be on top of for the price paid.
3. Understanding it’s a “fully self catering” & with “limited amenities” to get us started, we found it odd there was not any spare toilet paper, small long life milk containers in the fridge at the beginning yet plenty of dishwashing & clothes washing supplies.
Again we have stayed at several accommodations this trip & thus one was slightly disappointing.
It wouldn’t take much to become a solid 10 but not as yet.

Fantastic, clean, comfortable and recently refurbished house in an ideal location. Private, yet easy to get to into York centre. Garden and outdoor area a real bonus. Back garden was ideal for ball games with our dog!
Only small negative worth mentioning is that the kitchen could do with some new pots and pans.

Lots of space for several

It is advertised as 3 bathrooms but it is 2 plus a toilet. The oven kept tripping the electrics but in fairness an engineer was sent out …. But not until the next day and we had ordered a shop to eat in the first night which didn’t work due to the oven malfunctioning
