Everything was absolutely perfect. Very clean, really spotless. Comfortable bed, and comfortable chairs too to sit in.
When I was reading the comments before booking the stay, I saw some visitors complaining about the metal stairs, noise, and not enough cutlery in the kitchen. Please ignore all these comments. The stairs are steady and normal, nothing wrong with them. There are enough plates, cups, and cutlery for at least 4 people in the one-bedroom apartment, so that’s not something you need to worry about.
And there is absolutely NO NOISE! Very quiet and peaceful.
The view is breathtaking, everywhere you look. Waking up and drinking coffee while looking out the windows was my favourite part of the stay.
The location is perfect, a 10-minute drive to Westport and close enough to everything Mayo has to offer. The dinner at the Tavern, five minutes from the place, was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
I will definitely come back with my friends because they need to see this place too.
Everything was amazing. The only thing I would suggest is a later check-out time. 10am is a bit too early, especially for a self-catering place where we need to organise and clean a bit of the place before we leave.
Considering the check-in is at 16:30, it would be nice to have a check-out at 10:30 or 11:00.
But again, that’s just a suggestion, and it didn’t impact our stay.

It was in a stunning location overlooking the bay and Croagh Patrick. It was very clean and comfortable.
There wasn’t an iron or hairdryer in the property so had to contact the office but they provided them when asked. A soap dispenser would be useful in the bathrooms.

A mix of permanent residents and holiday lets. Not very friendly in my opinion.
