Clean, quite, away from the town. Friendly staff.
It was too hot to stay out side or walk around. I would recommend sponsored activities in side. Book reading, live music, sing-a-long, inside exercise, late afternoon horse shoes, dance party after dinner, early afternoon tea, board games for all visitors to gather, etc. I did not see where you would ride bikes??? No chair or table in the room.

Quiet and relaxing with a beautifully kept ranch house and exceptionally hospitable owners and staff. Great place near Lake Oconee for horseback riding.

The staffs are amazing
The food was good , but the choices are limited. I think one adult can eat a whole donut, cutting a donut in half 🤔

We stayed 11 days at Southern Cross Ranch and left genuinely happier than when we arrived. The horses were the heart of the experience: being so close to the pastures, seeing how relaxed and natural everyone is with them, and moving through a place where horses, cats, dogs, and people all share daily life was something we had never experienced like this before. We also really enjoyed the real Southern breakfast and the honest, freshly cooked, home-style American food.
Not much, honestly. This is a real ranch, not a polished luxury resort, and that was exactly right for us. If you expect refined dining or sleek resort facilities, you may see some rustic edges, but for us they were part of the charm and the hardest part was leaving.
