About this house rental
Situated in Qualla, this lovely house for $124 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Welcome to Cozy Bear Lodge where you can relax and enjoy the mountains! The lodge is located within 20 minutes to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park entrance and conveniently located right off of the Great Smoky Mountain Expressway, which leads to Bryson City, Sylva, Waynesville, and Lake Junaluska! With Cherokee being the next town over, you can enjoy the Native American culture of the arts, stores, restaurants, and Harrah's Casino! Enjoy the rocking chairs, cook on the grill, or rest in the hot tub on the back deck, or play checkers in the cozy corner of the living room or sit around the electric fireplace and watch a movie! Head down to the lower level and play foosball, ping pong, practice your putting, or play a boardgame! The lodge has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a private loft with two twin beds. There is a full bathroom on the main level and a half bathroom on the lower level. Also on the lower level is a washer and dryer if you need. Cozy Bear is the top most property on Casey's Mountain, so enjoy some privacy being surrounded by trees! There is also a winter mountain view to enjoy from the large windows in the living room and dining area! Due to being close to the expressway and having all the local places easily accessible, you may hear some traffic noises while enjoying the deck. You might also be able to hear the steam train go by on the tracks that run along the Tuckasegee River! We hope that we can make your stay in the western Carolina mountains as enjoyable as it has been for us! A few additional items: -We have a 12 cup drip coffee maker. -Sheets and towels are provided for your use. *Please note that 4-wheel drive is needed to get up the mountain during times of snow on the ground.

This is a great property to go to unwind and relax. The home was clean and inviting. Bobby and Jackie communicated very well with us. It is close to Cherokee and Bryson City. We took our grandson to ride on the Polar Express and it was an easy trip to get to Bryson City. My grandson wished he could have played the basketball game that was in the pictures, but it was not there. However, the other games and hot tub made up for that. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Our original booking had to cancel the day before we were supposed to leave and we were so happy this property was available! It was perfect for our family. Many wonderful amenities and close to all the attractions. The kids had their own spaces and the hot tub was awesome. Would definitely consider staying here again!

We had a great time at this house. The layout of the house makes it easy to use the kitchen while hanging out with people in the living room. We enjoyed the nice deck and hot tub surrounded by trees. The host responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed trips to Cherokee, Bryson City, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Nantahala National Forest. Mingo Falls in Cherokee was especially pretty. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a beautiful place to stay for our family it had plenty of space. Toys for kids a game room and a hot tub. And restaurants, dollar general, family dollar, and grocery store maybe 10 minutes from the house. It’s peaceful and makes you feel at home. Wasn’t but 10 minutes from beautiful Cherokee and the new found gap road. We had a great trip and would definitely go back and stay again.

Awesome accommodations, great location. Loved the hot tub and the flexibility to be able to cook or go into town for dinner. It is a smaller town so not alot of dinner options but if your looking for a home town feel like we were it was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cozy Bear Cabin. Bobby and Jackie were so helpful and responsive and provided ideas of places/things to do in town. We loved the bear decor throughout the cabin.
The views were amazing; we loved the rocking chairs and hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped for meals. Our kids loved the game room and movies. We will definitely recommend this cabin and hope to come back!

Clean and well set-up. Sitting in the hot tub after dinner with our kids at night was wonderful. The game are downstairs is perfect for little ones needing to blow off steam, while not damaging anything. We’ll be back!

The Cozy Cabin was perfect for our stay. It was clean and just as described. It was a nice location for access to the Great Smoky Mountains as well as groceries, which was very convenient.

Just as described, nice clean place & central location to many areas nearby. Perfect if you have kids although it was just 2 of us, we enjoyed the games. Loved the tree top patio & hot tub. Kitchen was great & well appointed except if you plan on cooking, buy/bring salt,pepper, herbs. Also need baggies, Saran Wrap or foil. No extra supplies have been left by renters (places we’ve stayed at usually have a nice collection). Also make sure you bring all toiletries (soap, shampoo etc). Would definitely stay again in the future.

Wonderful little house! Very clean and comfortable and close to everything we needed and wanted. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful stay hiking, playing games and enjoying the hot tub and and will definitely return here again when traveling this way.

This place was perfect for our family. The kids loved the games downstairs and having their own upstairs loft bedroom! We enjoyed the charming decor touches, the deck, and the cozy electric fireplace that could be enjoyed even in summer temps. It’s even better than pictures.

I wish I could live here!
Cabin was absolutely perfect for our family vacation to the mountains. As per other reviews, the driveway/rd to the cabin is a bit daunting for us Flat Florida types, but by the 2nd day, I got the hang of it. It was so clean, I came home with the goal of getting my house as clean as that was! Cabin had all the cooking utensils I needed. Note, you would need to bring your own cooking spray and spices including salt and pepper if needed. Having a washer and dryer on purpose was amazing! Didn't have to come home to a bag of stinky laundry.
We had a concern with hot tub but Bobby communicated with us timely to come to a resolution. The ONLY recommendation I would have is to have a spot for a small campfire or even just big enough to roast some marshmallows. All in all, absolutely amazing stay and would absolutely recommend this cabin!!

Getting there was a little bit tricky but otherwise the property is perfect for a family of 6; Place was clean, well laid out with nice views of the are and sufficiently well stocked with utensils and entertainment options. The owner/s provided great communication to ensure that our needs are met. I would definitely consider this property for future trips when in the area.

I loved the day time winter views of the mountains with the river below during the day, and at night the hot tube while star gazing, fireplace, and comfortable bed.
The host cared alot about my stay being enjoyable, and you could see that this place would be wonderful for kids to enjoyment too, or game players.
