It suited our purpose as we were there to attend a family funeral nearby.

Typical French farmhouse. Lovely views on the way to and from the property. Pleasant owner.

There were no towels in the bathroom. I had, fortunately, packed one so was able to shower, but the details should have pointed out that they would not be provided. Renters should be advised to stock up with basics eg milk before arrival.

Exceptional

Loved the views, the animals. Great that the chickens were put to bed in the hen house overnight so the cockerels didn't wake us at 5am which was the case three consecutive nights elsewhere. The owner kindly gave us a tour of the animals. We bought a tin of great home made pork pâté and were given fresh eggs and tomatoes. The house was centrally heated, very cosy and well- equipped. The farm is on top of a hill and it was wonderfully quiet. No traffic noise at all.

The beds were very soft.
