Nathalie is a wonderfully gracious host who will bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasant as possible (including a scrumptious breakfast with eggs made to order). The 18th-century structure exudes history and charm, and is directly across the street from a large square where Charles de Gaulle gave his first speech following the liberation of France in WWII. The location can't be beat, as it is just steps away from the stunning Notre Dame Cathedral, whose construction primarily dates back to the 13th century, while the nearby downtown area tempts you with numerous dining choices. We easily could have stayed a few more days with Nathalie in lovely Bayeux, which suffered no significant bombing damage during the war, but other parts of Normandy were beckoning and we had to stick to our schedule.

Natalie was a wonderful hostess who gave us a great breakfast both mornings and made our late evening check-in very easy. The large clawfoot bath tub plus a comfortable bathroom with shower was great. Great bed and space to lay out our luggage.
Street parking in these old towns is a bit challenging but it worked out.

We loved staying here, highlight of the 10 week trip. Nathalie's house is beautifully restored and furnished. The rooms have all you need and more. The best breakfast, eggs to your liking, croissants, yoghurt, fruit, fresh bread etc. It is located perfectly in town, opposite a park. Nathalie is a generous and friendly host, always smiling..Thank you Nathalie!
