About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Placid, this charming house for $342 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The perfect Adirondack experience awaits you at the “Moose Tracks” townhouse at the end of a private cul-de-sac! Step into a pristine, Adirondack style townhouse nestled into the heart of nature yet part of the highly sought-after Hillcrest neighborhood. A quick stroll away lies the serene Mirror Lake and its beautiful town beach, shopping galore, endless restaurants, famous Olympic village, Lake Placid marina, kid’s playground and 15-minute drive to the magnificent Whiteface mountain! Our newly renovated space is decorated with rustic Adirondack décor throughout the townhouse. The main floor allows for relaxing leisure time after a day enjoying all the area has to offer. Cozy up in the living room on two super comfortable sleeper sofas by the wood burning fireplace fully stocked with firewood to keep warm on a cool evening or night. An array of various electronics and other items to keep busy include high-speed WIFI, Sony Smart HDTV with cable, NFL Redzone package (great for football fans), Blue Ray DVD player, Nintendo Wii console, DVD movies, board games, puzzles and more. In addition, there is an adorable desk with a chair that overlooks the tranquil woods for those that must mix some business with pleasure. The new chef’s style kitchen is appointed with custom cabinetry and new appliances for those that love to cook. Included are all the dining essentials one may ever need such as newer pots/pans, knife block set, microwave, toaster, gourmet cookbooks, five burner stove range & oven, dishwasher, French door fridge & freezer, coffee machine with grinder, Belgium waffle maker, beautiful matching dinnerware, glassware & cutlery. Adjacent to kitchen is a large counter height wooden dining table with seating for six in its own nature oasis surrounded by windows. Note that we have a window AC unit in our main level living room, for those very rare days, just in case. Also located on the first floor is a refinished ½ bath, storage nook with bench and large closet. For your winter gear - skis, snowboards, boots, etc.., we have a storage shed outside for you to use. The second floor has two very spacious bedrooms and laundry closet with new washer & dryer. The Master retreat has an Adirondack style queen size bed, large closet, and full bath. The 2nd bedroom features a XL bunk bed with a twin/queen combo and a full bath. Each bedroom has a window AC unit in the summer months. Head out back to our large deck overlooking the forest with seasonal mountain views. There you will find a dining table with chairs and a gas grill, perfect for the day’s catch on the lake or your famous barbecue! ***PETS NOT ALLOWED*** Unfortunately due to our own family and others allergies all pets are strictly prohibited and will forfeit deposit along with additional cleaning fee if found to be on premises. The townhouse was absolutely everything that I hoped for. The beds were so comfortable, everything we needed was at our disposal. We were able to enjoy our time there relaxing between tournament games! Amaris was so responsive anytime I needed anything! Will definitely stay again when back in Lake Placid!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in a super quiet neighborhood just a ten minute walk to town. Their are hills so consider footwear! The unit was clean, cozy and very well stocked. The hosts were extremely responsive and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Really top notch! We would not hesitate to stay again. A fun moment was enjoying morning coffee at the kitchen table with a deer that was watching me the whole time.

This townhome was a great getaway for our family of 4. Communication was great and we appreciated Amaris getting us into the property a bit early when our plans changed. We enjoyed the outdoor deck and had everything we needed inside the property. We were able to walk to and from the main shopping and restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Moose Tracks!! The condo was just a couple of minutes from the busy Main Street in Lake Placid but nestled away from it all in a peaceful setting. The owner was very easy to work with and very communicative! We would not hesitate to book here again if we ever travel back to the area!

We had a wonderful stay - we enjoyed the Lake Placid area in the wintertime- we had over a foot of snow fall and had everything we needed to hunker down, cook in the kitchen - that had all the items needed - and enjoy the cozy living area by the fire.
We appreciated how timely and thorough the snow removal crew were- the driveway was always cleared, the path to the townhouse was both cleared and salted.
The owners maintain the unit very well and were very responsive.
We enjoyed our stay so much- we were glad to be able to add an extra night !

This property was perfect for 2 couples. So nice to have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. It was very clean and so nicely decorated, even with fall touches. It is a very easy walk to Main Street but beware there are hills each way. We wouldn't have changed a thing about the property and would definitely stay there again.

We couldn't imagine a much better experience! The location was great and secluded as advertised, still just a short walk to Main Street. The home was fully stocked with anything you would need, great deck space, and bathrooms off of each bedroom. Wouldn't change a thing!

Very close to downtown but set in a super quiet wooded setting. Great deck with seating and grill. Lots of space. Stocked with some basics like spices. One note is the walk to town is only like 10 minutes but is up a big hill then down a huge hill. Not ideal for anyone who has trouble with somewhat strenuous walks. We were there for Ironman and had no issues at all.

Perfect getaway!
We loved our stay. Had all of the comforts of home - traveled with my sister and our husbands and each had our own bedroom/bathroom and enjoyed the fire at night. Super close to town! Very clean.
