A gorgeous 4 night stay sleeping amongst nature in The Bubble (lots of lovely finishing touches and spotlessly clean). The children loved all the animals- Oumayma the dog, the cats, pig, goat, chickens etc. The breakfast trays served in The Bubble each morning were a luxury! The outdoor pool is wonderful and we had time to ourselves swimming and playing each day. A morning of kayaking on the river was brilliant fun, a great experience.
Dinners eaten outside, board games, bike riding, swimming and toasting marshmallows on the campfire. Exactly what a holiday should be!
Although there is a supermarket and a bakery in the village there is little else within walking distance. We arrived on a Monday evening and with the pizza takeaway and supermarket being closed there were no other options for an evening meal. We were able to drive to Laon which is just 20 minutes away. Not a problem, just a watch out for guests arriving later.

C’est juste exceptionnel. Le logement super, l’espace détente parfait on se relaxe vraiment dans un cadre idyllique. On apprécie également le parc, qq animaux, la piscine, transat et un cours d’eau plus bas.

Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation in a lovely location by the river. There was outdoor furniture directly outside so we could sit out and we loved the occasional visits from the family dog and cat. There was a washing machine if needed and I enjoyed a swim in the small outdoor pool. The property had a kettle, toaster and coffee machine etc but if wanted you could arrange to have breakfast and or drinks and some food delivered.
Nothing really. The stairs were quite narrow to go upstairs but the downstairs sofa was large and converted to a bed if that was a problem for you.

The host tried to help us despite a language barrier and communicated well through Google translate.
It was VERY quiet and secluded so if that is what you are after this might be for you.
There is a “spa and wellness” on site however very expensive for what it is and we ended up cancelling it due to being unimpressed.
We felt like the listing on booking.com made the property seem more impressive than it was in real life.
There was no physical bar area but a drinks menu, the pool was smaller than expected and the town that the property was located had no restaurants near by … all a drive away which was inconvenient for us and no access to a taxi service.
The one bedroom house we stayed in was nice, able to put Netflix on the tv but the fridge only got cold on the last morning and the air con only cooled down the bottom floor. The top bedroom was very hot at night even with keeping the blinds shut.
It is not a 4 star property and expect to do a full clean before leaving at risk of not getting a very large security deposit back. This made us very uncomfortable having to pay so much!
