Πολύ προνομιακή τοποθεσία, στο λιμάνι των Καταπόλων. Στα θετικά το μπαλκόνι με υπέροχη θέα. Τα δωμάτια μεγάλα και ευρύχωρα. Σίγουρα χρειάζεται να γίνει κάποια ανακαίνιση ώστε να είναι βάθος χρόνου πιο λειτουργικό αλλά σε σχέση με την τιμή του μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι.

The location is fantastic. Nice view to the sea, big balcony, quiet!
Mr Mihalis said that he is in sort of stuff the room was not cleaned before 17.00!!!
Also I don’t know why he tried to give us another room in a very old building full of rubbish, unfinished with very old furniture dirty and undone!
Mr Mihalis doesn’t keep the buildings he owns ordered!
The shower in our room was old but was working fine, the hair dryer could be plugged only in a plug that was out of order!
WiFi was not working either!

The location was definitely the best thing about this apartment! We walked to the apartment when we arrived, and the owner met us there and gave us the keys. It was very conveniently located and close to restaurants, shops, and everything we needed. There is even a wonderful little bakery right next door, and the sweet girl working there remembered what kind of coffee I wanted each morning, which I loved!
The absolute BEST part of the apartment was the balcony and its WONDERFUL VIEW! We really enjoyed sitting out there. There was a good-sized table and chairs, and a makeshift clothesline where we could hang things to dry. A proper drying rack would have been a nice addition, but we were glad to have somewhere to hang our wet clothes.
Between the location, the nearby restaurants and bakery, and especially that beautiful balcony and view, this apartment really does have a lot going for it and so much potential!! I can see this place being so much more than it is.
For the price, it needs to be better.
There was no shower curtain in the bathroom, even though there was a shower rod and hooks for one, so every time we showered, water went all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom sink had what appeared to be a screw-top wine bottle lid stuck in the drain, which caused the sink to fill with water very quickly. Both the bathroom faucet and the kitchenette faucet were VERY loose—almost like they were barely attached. There was also no dish soap provided, so we could only rinse our dishes really well.
We had to ask for the A/C remote. We ended up not using the A/C, but we definitely would have appreciated having the option our first night, when there was a festival nearby with loud music until around 5 a.m. It would have been nice to close the doors and use the A/C to block out some of the noise. There was also a TV, but no TV remote, so I'm not sure how we were supposed to use it.
The balcony shutters were actually really nice to have because they allowed air to come through while blocking out the light, but unfortunately they were literally falling apart. The wood on the bottom of one shutter had rotted away and a section was completely missing.
What was most disappointing was that these weren't really big problems—they were mostly simple maintenance issues that could easily be fixed. I asked the owner for a shower curtain and also told him that the bathroom sink wasn't draining properly, but neither issue was addressed during our stay. He told me there was a stopper in the sink, but there was clearly a wine bottle lid sitting in the drain hole, and the water backed up every time we used it.
The gentleman who runs the place is very nice, which makes it difficult to leave a negative review. I just wish there was more care being put into maintaining the property. It has the potential to be a charming place, but right now there are too many basic things being neglected.
