Such a gorgeous and unique place to stay! We absolutely loved our weekend at Abbeyfield Horsebox. The horsebox has been beautifully converted, with so much thought and attention to detail – cosy, comfortable and full of character.
The setting is lovely and peaceful, yet it was perfect for us attending Party in the Park in Morpeth. It made the whole weekend feel that little bit more special.
Everything we needed was there and it was just such a cool, different place to stay. We would definitely recommend Abbeyfield Horsebox and would happily return. A little hidden gem! 🐴✨
The compost toilet wouldn’t normally be our choice, but it was absolutely fine for a weekend stay, and although the Wi-Fi wasn’t great, we didn’t really need it.

Seeing a deer on the property . And the kids loved the barrels . The wifi wasn't the greatest but the kids were exhausted from exploring the woods and running about the field so they really didn't need their phones .we've been twice now and will most definitely be back

We loved the remote location and the fact that we had the entire meadow to ourselves. It was beautifully presented. The beds were so comfy and we loved all of the touches from the hot tubs, to the seating area and the fire pit area. All perfect for a flaming trip. There was plenty of wood supplied and little extras such as a jar of marshmallows for the fire pit. There was lots of solar outdoor lightning which lit the way to the outside toilet and made it feel that extra special and homey.

Lovely glamping venue with really good facilities, and very comfortable for two friends (one in the double bed, one on the sofabed). We loved the quality and comfort of the facilities, and the hot tubs were great fun once we got to grips with the set-up instructions. The outdoor space was very spacious and private, with a big field surrounded by trees. The outside seating was also very comfortable.
The only problem we had was the difficult access to the property. This wasn't helped by a temporary road closure, and the fact that we were travelling by bicycle (which we advised on booking). However you travel, you have to carry your luggage down a footpath track and through a couple of gates, which we weren't expecting. The website really needs to make the access arrangements clear.
