Royal Marine Hotel

The staff were great! Friendly, welcoming and helpful from our arrival until we left making our stay pleasurable. We booked a budget room to keep the cost down and were pleasntly suprised with the room and decor. The room was clean and comfortable with offers of fresh linen and beverage top ups even though we were only there for 3 nights. The menu offered a good variety and we enjoyed the Angus burger and chips. The hotel is in a good location with amazing views over the Clyde. This was our first time in Scotland and we would definitely return to stay again :)

Nothing love everything

Great welcome by the staff and brilliant hospitality. Room was as described and recently refurbished. Great strong shower. Comfortable bed. Brilliant meal in the restaurant for dinner and good times relaxing in the bar. Friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is going through some exciting changes and I cant wait to see them. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The location next to a Ferry terminal was convenient, the building itself is impressive and obvious ongoing improvements can only add to that. Breakfast was full Scottish, served promptly, hot and in a friendly manner though a bit pricey.

The room we were allocated overlooked a dug up back yard and had no view worthy of noticing. The en suite was adequate but in need of upgrading. Two faults were brought to the attention of staff when leaving which we were assured would be dealt with.
