Location is great, 5mins walk from train station and bus to alishan.
I had to pay $200 to reserve a specific bunk but when I came there's only 3 of us in the room which meant no one really wouldve booked the exact bed.
Also i had to pay for a towel rental. Everything had to be paid :/
&& bed was too firm i woke up with backache every morning of my stay.

Its near the station the bed was big and comfy.
Its can be noisy if you have roommate who snores or noisy. The luggage store place was very limited as one room there was 10 of us. Another the plug only one and the charging was slow

Kiosk check in was convenient. Female friendly arrangements in the bathroom were impressive.
